Towing a trailer blocks your rear view. This system brings it back, showing what's behind your trailer in real time through a digital mirror so you can change lanes, back up, and park with a clear view.
Towing a camper or enclosed trailer usually means losing sight of everything behind you. This system places one camera on your truck and another at the rear of your trailer, feeding both into a digital mirror so you can see straight through your setup. You can check traffic, monitor your trailer, or line up a parking spot without relying on guesswork. The third brake light camera also gives you a clear angle for lining up a gooseneck or fifth-wheel connection.
Routing wiring from the cab to the back of a trailer takes time and effort, especially on longer setups. The wireless camera sends a live video feed from the rear of your trailer to the mirror up front, so you get a real-time view without running cable the entire length of the rig. This cuts down on installation time and avoids extra wiring across the trailer.
The included digital mirror replaces your factory rear view and displays a wide, high-resolution video feed. A quick tap lets you switch between the truck camera and trailer camera, so you can check your cargo, watch traffic behind the trailer, or confirm space before merging. Everything stays in your natural line of sight.
Mount the cameras, run the included wiring and antennas, and replace your factory mirror with the digital display. The kit includes the hardware and harnesses needed for installation. If you're comfortable with the wiring process, you can handle it with some extra time. If not, we can help you find a trusted installer to handle the job.

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at our Brandmotion wireless transport trailer camera system with a digital rear view mirror. And this is considered a universal kit. And what I mean by that is it should be able to be wired up to any vehicle out there. You may want to go to one of our dealers and you can have them installed if you don't wanna tackle it yourself.
And there's a dealer locator tool on our website, etrailer.com, you can check out. Now you're gonna get two cameras. You're gonna get this main larger one here, wireless, it does get powered up, but it is wireless. You have the nice transmitter here, and then you have the small reverse camera that you can tilt as well, depending on where you mount it, how you mount it. There's a bracket here for mounting the camera as well.
And then of course, all your wiring, your connectors for audio, a little bitty foam backing, some screws. And then of course the main star of the show, in my opinion, is the rear view mirror. So you're gonna get this, it does have the mounting bracket and everything where it can mount up. It's a very nice setup. You're gonna be able to see the trailer mounted camera if you want, as far as the wireless one.
And then of course the rear of the vehicle with the other one. Now both cameras have night vision and you're gonna get all, again, the hardware and brackets and everything for installing as well. Now some of your trailers, you're gonna have to just use the Furrion and Voyager pre-wired brackets and stuff that are on those trailers. Otherwise you have that universal bracket included here if you so need it. So folks, I know there's a lot of gear here, a lot of neat features with this.
This is a powered unit. There's a power button right here. I don't have it powered up to show you, but you're basically gonna be able to see both views if you want. And then with a simple touch of the screen, you should be able to go back to just a basic mirror function as well. So, very nice little setup here. Folks, that's gonna wrap up our look together. If you have questions about this once again or anything else on our website, please, please reach out to us. We'd be more than happy to assist you. I'm Steven. Have a good one.
Overall, I think it is a good product. My biggest complaint would be the lack of installation instructions. If your familiar with Ram trucks on how to work with the headliner and know where to access a safe 12 volt supply, then you shouldn't have any issues. Otherwise you will need to access YouTube for assistance.
Also, the camera is stationary and it's mounted in plastic. It would be nice if it was on a adjustable mount. I made a wedge to install between the camera bezel and the brake light lens, which now allows me to see the top of my 5th wheel hitch in the box of my truck.
I purchased this for pulling our 5th wheel camper, and with the changes I made, it should work great.
The camera and mirror provide a great view and is much better than the stock mirror that came with my Ram 2500
