there are several models/numbers for a lock replacement. how do i determine which is the right one for my yakima 4-bike hitch mount rack?

The different models that you see for the Replacement SKS Lock Cores like part # Y8771-A141 are for those that come with a different lock core number. That said, you can use the above on your Yakima 4-Bike Rack so long as you get the correct keys, the Replacement Control Key part # Y8007835 to install it and then the Replacement A141 Key part # Y8772-A141 to lock and unlock it.
