Do the smoke tinted vent covers let light through?

Hi Calvin; the Replacement Dome Assembly for Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent - Smoke # BVD0449-A03 does let some light through, but not much. I attached a picture below to help you see how much light will come through the lid.
