Only needed this part to repair one of my kayak cradles. Just got back from a 1900 mile trip with the kayaks on top of our truck, and had no problems whatsoever. Replacing just the part vs the cost of a new set of cradles was a no brainer. Very pleased.

One year later and still going strong. I have even upgraded to a heavier kayak and am able to use my original cradles.

These are a perfect match for my thule kayak racks. My racks get a lot of use and these pads do eventually tear or just wear out after several years of use. Good to know I can still get inexpensive replacement parts as opposed to a new rack.

    You certainly can get replacement pads for the Thule Hull-A-Port PRO. To replace the bottom tube pad, you will want to use the Thule Replacement 6 Inch Pad # 853-5540. For the upper arm's tube pads, you will want # 8537418. To replace the bottom base pad, you will want part # 8535302.

Just keep in mind that the pads are different for the upper pad (on the cradle) and for the base.
