Video Transcript for Replacement Flush Ball Assembly for Dometic RV Toilet: The Breakdown

Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're taking a look at the replacement flush ball shaft and spring cartridge for your Dometic RV toilet. So this is going to be a replacement part for those toilets that maybe the flush ball isn't working properly anymore. Maybe it's gotten cracked or worn out or some of the components somewhere in between. So this is going to be that direct replacement for you to make sure that everything's working and flowing just fine. This is going to fit with the Dometic SeaLand and VacuFlush toilets with plastic or metal pedals, so pretty common to a lot of them.

There is another version that's going to have a white cartridge. It's slightly different. The main difference is going to be in this little tab here. So if you have one of the older style, you might need that other replacement flush ball and shaft and cartridge that is also available here at etrailer.com. So if you have that older style, you can check that out right here.Basically, this is just going to attach with the shaft going into the flush ball.

And then that fits into the inside of the cartridge. There should be a little square hole there inside that spring and it should seat in place. And then the water valve will go over the top of that. You'll use those two long screws to attach everything together. So it should be everything you need to replace that worn out system.

This is made in the USA and that's pretty much going to do it for our look at the replacement flush ball shaft and spring cartridge for your Dometic RV toilet. If you need any other replacement parts or accessories for your RV, for the sewage system or anything else, we do have a lot of options available here at etrailer.com so check them out. Thanks for watching.

  • Which Dometic RV Toilet Has Flush Ball Assembly as Replaceable Part
The Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet # DOM87FR doesn't have a replacement flush ball so instead you'll want to use the Dometic 510 Full-Timer RV Toilet # DOM29FR which is slightly smaller than the 320 but has the same materials and basic specs but comes with a hand sprayer and the flush ball assembly can be replaced with part # DOM68FR. Attached are some review videos for you to check out.

  • Foot Pedal Replacement For A Dometic 310
When I reached out to the Dometic they informed me that the foot pedal itself is not replaceable. Which means you can either try to rig something up to get it to work, or you will have to replace the entire toilet assembly. If you're ok with replacing the whole assembly then we have the Dometic 310 toilet available in Tan Ceramic # DOM37FR or White Ceramic # DOM57FR. I have attached an installation video below.

  • Can Flush Ball be Replaced on a Dometic 310 RV Toilet
Hey Scott, thanks for reaching out! The Dometic 310 toilets unfortunately don't have a way to replace the flush ball so you'll need to either replace your toilet with another 310, which we have in both Tan Ceramic # DOM37FR and White Ceramic # DOM57FR, or if you have an 11" rough-in you can use the Dometic 510 # DOM29FR instead because it has a replacement flush ball # DOM68FR if you need to replace it at a later point in time. The rough-in measurement is from the mounting bolts for the...

  • Is There A Replacement Flush Ball Assembly For A Dometic 321 Toilet?
Hey Mike, so the Replacement Flush Ball Assembly # DOM68FR is not correct for the Dometic 321 toilet. I just double checked with my contact at Dometic, and unfortunately the flush ball on the 321 series toilet is not replaceable. The only option would be to replace the toilet entirely with another Dometic 321 Full-Timer RV Toilet such as part # DOM99FR.
