Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this MAXXAIR screen retainer finger replacement. This is going to replace one screen retainer finger for your MAXXAIR MAXXFAN roof vent. This is gonna work for all MAXXFAN roof vent models. Because this is a direct replacement from MAXXAIR, you can trust it is gonna work with your roof vent model.
You're not gonna have to worry about fit issues, or compatibility problems or anything like that. It's gonna work exactly like the original to rotate in, to hold your screen in place, rotate out so that you can pull that screen out, clean it and that sort of thing. We assume they will be easy to install but haven’t tried yet
These were perfect. Exact replacement for the 2 broken pieces we had. There were no instructions on replacement and I scoured the internet to find them (didn't exist). So I had to go to the manufacturer and had to call their 1-800 line. They pretty much told me that I'd need to remove the screw inside the black knob, then the other 4 screws that hold the fan up to be able to replace these. It was a pretty quick replacement but make sure to have your cleaning spray and paper towels as there was oil and grease up there that had floated up there with the air). Thanks again!
