Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this replacement lockout lever kit for your Demco DA86 surge brake actuator. This replacement manual lockout lever is designed for the DA86 surge brake actuator with cast couplers, making this a great solution if your original lever is missing, bent, damaged, or worn. This is going to restore the manual reverse lockout function, which temporarily prevents the trailer's surge brakes from activating while you're backing up. Once you pull the trailer forward again, the lockout's going to automatically release, so the surge brakes are going to return to normal operation.
So this is going to include everything that you need for installation, including the lockout lever, the spacer, the 3/8 of an inch by 4 1/2-inch grade five bolt, and the 3/8 of an inch stover lock nut. So everything that you see here on my table along with instructions to guide you through the very simple installation replacement process. I think that's going to wrap up our quick look today.
