Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the replacement bulb and socket. Now this replaces the taillight socket for the Blue Ox taillight wiring kit, part number BX8869. The bulb sits in that J socket and when it comes to the bulb, it's a 2357. That's the bulb number. Three wire design and with this part number, you get one replacement socket and one bulb. We'll go ahead and hook it up, that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it.
And we can turn off our overhead lights and you can see there it sends out a really nice, consistent signal. That's gonna do it for today's look at the replacement bulb and socket for the Blue Ox taillight wiring kit, part number BX8869.

Ordered Blue Ox trailer wiring kit for Chevy Avalanche they only have 2 bulbs in the kit requires 4. much safer with 2 on each side like the stock taillights.

Exactly what I needed to replace existing sockets.
The product is exactly what I need. The delivery did not go as expected and showed up a few days after it was expected. Not sure why the part went from St. Louis MO through two Alabama stops then through Olathe KS and then was delivered to Wisconsin.
