Question:

Will this part fit a 1949 Ford Taillight housing? And can you put a LED bulb in it? Also does this replace the 8A-13410-A socket?

The Replacement Bulb and Socket for Blue Ox Tail Light Wiring Kit # 294-0774 is a replacement part for the Blue Ox Tail Light Wiring Kit # BX8869 which is designed to get the signal lights needed for towing your vehicle behind an RV.

I have know way of verifying if this would fit the housing in your 1949 Ford, I have included a picture that shows some measurements you can use to try and verify a fitment. You can swap the bulbs out for 1157-compatible LED's like the Replacement LED Bulb # RM-300066-10.

Given what this product is intended for, I am not sure if it would replace an 8A-13410-A socket.
