Video Transcript for Review of JR Products Propane - Tees - 37207-30135

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the JR product Propane T-fitting. This is going to hook up to your RV or travel trailer's propane system, and give you a couple extra ports to hook up other items. We've got a few different nozzles here, so let's go through them together. Here, we have our male POL fitting. This is what's going to thread into the valve on your propane cylinder tank. It does have threads there that will thread into the inner threads of your tank.

So, you will have to thread that in a counter-clockwise, which might be a little bit counterintuitive to those of us who know the righty-tighty lefty-loosey method, because this doesn't have a hand, you will need another tool to get that tightened down, but you can see we've got the O-ring on the tip there that's going to help create a nice tight seal. So, we don't have to worry about any gas leaks or anything like that.On the other side, we've got our female POL fitting, and this is where you're going to insert the male POL fitting that you currently have installed on your gas cylinder valve. Again, just thread that in there, make sure it's nice and tight. You might need a tool to tighten it down depending on what your current male POL fitting looks like. And then that is going to re-complete your system so that your gas will be flowing from your tank through, and then this hose will be going back out to your regulator.

So, that will be a consistent flow there. Then our other two fittings, we've got a 1/4" female inverted flare fitting. So, you can use this to insert a pigtail to an auxiliary cylinder. If you want to have an extra cylinder connected there, I will give you that option. And our fourth fitting is going to be a male #600, or it's sometimes called a 1"-20, or a disposable cylinder port. This is going to allow you to connect a small appliance, maybe like a gas grill or something like that. So, you can cook burgers while you're out camping without having to disconnect your propane system.

And without having to have a separate auxiliary or a disposable cylinder, you can put this up to your RV system and run it off of the propane there.Well, keep in mind, this is designed for LP gas only which LP of course stands for liquid propane. You don't want to use any other kinds of gases or water or anything like that with this T-fitting.And that's going to complete our look at the JR product Propane T-fitting..

  • Recommended Propane Sealing Plug for a T-Fitting w/ a POL Valve
We do not carry the Extend-a-Stay but the Propane T-Fitting for POL Valve item # 37207-30135 looks similar to the fitting included with the kit and is the same size. The Propane Sealing Plug item # 37207-30425 you were looking at is compatible with this fitting.

  • Adding an External 20 Pound Propane Tank to Supplement Onboard RV Propane Tank
Yes, you can do this, but to be clear, we will add a Tee fitting that will allow you to use your onboard propane tank and an outdoor 20 pound tank. You cannot use this to refill or add to the primary onboard tank. You can use the JR Products # 37207-30135 Propane T-Fitting to go between the onboard tank and the POL connector currently attached to the tank. Then use a JR Products # 37207-30785 pigtail to connect your 20 pound tank. You didn't ask about this but you can optionally use...

  • Propane Tee Needed To Supplement An Empty Onboard Propane Tank
The Propane T-Fitting # 37207-30135 you were looking at was designed exactly for this purpose. The 1/4" FIF fitting will allow you to connect a hose like part # 100575-60-MBS to an auxiliary tank to fuel your motorhome's propane system when the onboard tank is empty. It will also come with a 1"-20 fitting to connect an appliance before the motorhome's regulator but you can just ignore that until it's needed.

  • Recommended LP Gauge For A 2024 Fleetwood Flair 33B6 Class A Motorhome
Hey Mark, On-board LP tanks typically have a POL connection so you can install the GasStop Emergency Propane Shut-Off Valve Gauge - POL Connection # GS84FR between the regulator and tank. This has a gauge so you can get an idea of how much propane you have as well as an automatic shut off feature in the event of a leak. If you press down on the gauge 4-6 times the gauge should give you a fairly accurate reading of the tank so that you can be mindful of when you need a refill.

  • How To Add In Another Propane Line To A 2020 Tiffin Allegro Red Motorhome
There's too many variables to consider when rerouting propane so there isn't an all-in-one type of kit. Typically if you're routing permanent lines it's recommended to use a copper hard line instead of a hose so you would need a tee like # 37207-30135 to be able to connect the line. You would need a 1/4" male inverted flare fitting to whatever fitting you end up putting on the copper line. Typically a 3/8" swivel flare fitting is used on copper lines so you could get a 1/4" male inverted...
