Hey, there, Swift Hitch owners. Today, we're going to be taking a look at Switch Hitch's suction cup mount for the Swift Hitch camera system. If you need an alternate mounting option for your single camera Swift Hitch kit, or you need a second suction cup mounting option for the other camera in your dual camera kit, we have those available here at etrailer.com. This is what your mount will look like when you get it. It has three suction cups, each with a 2.5 inch diameter. The mounting surface is metal, so our Swift Hitch cameras will mount directly to it with no hardware. The triangle mounting surface for your camera is a 3.75 inch equilateral triangle.
This is great for mounting it on smooth non-magnetic surfaces, such as fiberglass or windows. Here we're going to haul this big pontoon boat, but I want to be able to see when backing it up, especially when I go to park it at home. With this, I don't have to do anything. Just take my camera, put it here in the back. Now, our boat has no surface that we can use the magnetic base to, but that's not a problem.
We can stick that on, giving us a metal surface for our magnetic mount. That completes our look at Swift Hitch's suction cup mount for the Swift Hitch camera system.

Anne, with your help, I found the perfect tool I needed to very quickly learn and master the ins and outs of hooking up a horse trailer to my car in a time of Red Flag warnings and approaching brush fires. And you had it in my hands amazingly quickly, I could not be more grateful to you and etrailers. Thank you!!!
The hatch on the back of my wife's Tahoe is not metal and the magnetic mount in the backup camera wouldn't work. This solved our problem. It sticks on the back window and holds the camera securely.
Almost better than sliced bread! Love the fact that I dont have to jump out of the truck every 2 feet to check on my alignment. Just turn the camera and monitor on, place camera on back of truck with the suction cups, get in truck and look at monitor to back up to your trailer! I am so glad I purchased the suction cup mount. I first put the camera on my tailgate and yellow paint came off on it. The next time I used the suction mount and no paint on the tailgate. I do wish there was some sort of filter I could put on the monitor so I can see the camera picture in the sunlight. It would make alignment of the camera easier. The carrying case is a good addition also, keeps everything together so no matter which truck I take I can always grab the camera, hook it up and GO!!
This plate with 3 suction cups really sticks well. I needed a base for a rearview camera that has a magnetic base and didnt have a metal surface to attach it to.
The guys at Etrailer recomended this solution and it works great, almost to good. I have already driven off with the camera still hanging on the back of our Yukon.
This mount is just what I needed. I have a RAV4 with a spare tire mounted on the rear door and it has a plastic cover over it. Not being metal, this was the ideal solution for mounting the Swift Hitch camera.
I can now back up to the hitch perfectly every time.
If you’re concerned about placing your Swift Hitch right on your truck this is a great gadget.
Perfect solution for attaching the camera to the spare tire cover on a RAV4
Great service and product
Looks quite adequate for attaching to rear of Airstream
