Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this replacement cutting edge for Western snowplows. Now, this is going to replace the cutting edge or scraper blade on the bottom of your Western snowplow. And as you no doubt know, this is going to mount to the bottom of your blade to break apart that ice and scrape away pack snow while you're clearing those parking lots or driveways. Now this is comparable to the Western part number 49312. And this is made here in the USA, and it is constructed of carbon steel, giving you that premium strength and heavy duty impact resistance.
And the Brinell hardness number is 250 to 300. This features a black powder coat finish that's going to help resist corrosion. And the overall dimensions is 90 inches long, six inches tall, and this is three eighths of an inch thick. And on your screen I'm including a diagram going over some additional measurements that you might find helpful. We do have eight holes for mounting, and the distance between those holes on center is 11 and a quarter inches.

Dimensions were good, fit was correct.
Bolt holes are poor. Did not accommodate oem 5/8 carriage bolts, barely 9/16. Square cut for carriage bolts very poor and undersized/tapered; had to grind significantly to get them to fit.
I had an issue with UPS that delivered to wrong address etrailer notified me of delivery and it never came sent them a reply and they checked with UPS I tracked down the delivery driver and he remembered where he delivered it and went back and delivered it to me right away

Seems to be a good quality blade, although it isn't what I purchased. I purchased a blade that claimed to be 1/2" thick, not the 3/8" thickness that this one is. Need to update the product specs as to not mislead potential customers. Time will tell how the 3/8" thick blade holds up compared to the previous 1/2" thick blade that it replaced.

This fits a western 62395. Just fyi. Fast delivery. Right fit. Will buy from e- trailer again. So there.
