Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this Carr Custom Fit Matte Black Aluminum Super Hoop Sidestep. Now, this is, as I mentioned, a custom fit part that is designed to fit the 2018 to 2022 Ford Expedition MAX and non-MAX editions, the 2015 and newer Ford F-150 regular cab, Supercab, and SuperCrew Cab, then the 2017 to 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor Supercab and SuperCrew Cab, and then the 2017 to 2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab, regular cab, and Supercab, then the 2017 to 2022 Ford F-450 Super Duty Crew Cab, then the 2017 to 2022 Ford F-350 and F-450 Cab and Chassis Crew Cab, regular cab, and Supercab, and then finally, the 2017 to 2022 Ford F-550 Cab and Chassis Supercab. Now, this step is designed to give you a more rugged look than the traditional tube steps and running boards, and this hoop style step is going to give you a large, flat, non-skid surface for you to get into and out of your Ford with ease. So let me go ahead and pull out my tape measure here and just give you some overall dimensions, so you have a good idea of the size.

Measuring here at the longest point, the overall length, we are sitting right at 20 inches long, and then measuring just the step area, we are sitting right at 17 inches long, and then the overall, the step width rather, we're sitting right at five inches wide. You probably can't see that too well, let me see if this will work a little bit better, so right at about five inches wide on that step, and this is going to give you a drop of about six inches. And this is made here in the USA of durable, rustproof cast aluminum alloy construction with the weight capacity of 500 pounds, and this XM3 Xtreme black powder coat finish is gonna do a great job of resisting chipping, peeling, and fading, and this lightly textured matte black appearance is going to compliment most vehicles, it's going to look great, and the finish itself, to me, looks pretty durable, and I think it's gonna be very long lasting. The multi-mount installation system is going to ensure a simple, yet precise stable fit on your Ford. The zinc-plated steel mounting heads are going to attach to your Ford's rocker panels with the included hardware that you see here, and as you can see, I kinda have these mounting heads loosely installed here, just gives you an idea of what they're gonna look like.
