Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a quick look at the WeatherTech mud flap kit. This gives you a complete kit to outfit your vehicle with mud flaps, both for the front and rear. It comes with both sides. I just have one each to see the difference between the two. And this is a custom fit for the 2017 through the current year model of the F-350 Super Duty with the dually wheels, and that's without the factory add-on flares.
So if that's a vehicle you have, This is going to be the kit for you.Again, we'll have our front flaps. So this is just going to help to protect our vehicle from any kind of rocks, mud and other stuff from getting slung up and hitting our doors, and should be a pretty easy install. It's really just this little tab that goes in place and holds it in our wheel well for the front, the back little bit more involved. But the nice thing about this is that neither one requires any kind of drilling. They should go in really easy, and again, match exactly what that contour of your wheel.
So it gives you a really nice factory look.As I mentioned, that's going to be the rear flap. It is wider, as you can tell, to fit your dually wheel. So it's going to go all the way across to give you that complete protection. There's going to be a bit more hardware to get this guy installed than there is for the front. So just keep that in mind.
I'll just need a flat blade screwdriver and a little bit of patience to get that on there, but it shouldn't take more than 20 minutes, if that, to get both of these in place on either side. They're made out of a thermoplastic resin, so they have a nice rigid design, should be up to the task to be out on the road.They're weather resistant, fade resistant as well, and they look really nice once they're installed. Also helps you protect not only your vehicle, but also other motorists from any kind of debris getting kicked up. And especially if you're going to be hauling a fifth wheel or a trailer with this, the mud flap on the back is really going to be nice to help protect anything that you're hauling behind you. Our rear flap is about a 10-inch extension down from our wheel well. I think the front is a little bit shorter, about 9 1/2. So that's about how much length you're putting down there. It's not going to hit the ground. You shouldn't have any issues with that.I have seen some customers say that this doesn't protect from everything hitting a fifth-wheel trailer that they're towing behind them. If you really want to have a complete coverage to make sure that nothing is getting onto your trailer behind, you might want to get something that actually does extend pretty far to the ground. We have options for that here at etrailer.com. And those can be a good solution if you're looking for that kind of thing.I think these are a great fit though, if you just want to have that factory look to help protect at least somewhat for your vehicle. They do a really good job and they're really easy to get installed. And once you put them on, you don't have to take them on and off. Some of the other ones that do reach the ground, you will have to take on and off, so that's kind of a trade off there. But I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right kit for you. For someone who is "old school" and reluctant to install plastic onto a machine, I'm impressed with the ease of installation and durability so far. I've put about 7500 miles on them without an issue. And thanks to Etrailer for carrying great products and providing great info to consumers. You folks have a great Business model!
Great product, easy to install, I didn't find the instructions, but was easy to figure out. I would recommend this product
Received fast, easy too install and min. Tools needed to attach. Purchased for the 2023 Ford F350 dually . Looks great. Front and rear are very secure onto body of truck.
Easy install and prevents most road debris from impacting the camper.

Nice mud flaps me recommended buy and easy install thank etrailer for my truck look awesome.
They're okay. The fit well, are rigid and strong. However, they're shorter than the stock mud flaps and provide slightly less protection. Additionally, they seem to have a few gaps where the stock flaps did not. This leaves some smaller spaces which can easily accumulate mud and debris. I probably wouldn't buy them again.
Guards arrived within a few days of order. All parts were provided and in good shape. The mud guards are a perfect fit for the truck. I installed them myself. The back guards were a little more difficult to install than the front ones. It only took about 10 minutes for the front ones and a half hour for the rear after I got everything I needed tool wise. I highly recommend the guards and the service by Nick was great. He knew exactly which guards I needed.

Still look good and do the job they are designed to do.
Like all Weathertech products they are a little pricey but fit well and are easy to install. Overall very satisfied. Would like a flap that hangs a little lower to better protect my 5th Wheel I tow. They protect my truck but need rock guards further back to protect trailer.
So far so good, had them installed for a year and they definitely help keep the vehicle clean
Mud flaps came very fast, we’re very easy to install..would highly recommend!

Very happy with the installation, but found they don’t seat low enough to protect my 5th wheel from water, mud, etc. At 12in off the ground I got some rubber pads and cut to fit and added them to the Weathertech mud flap. Now at 7ins off the ground they do a much better job at keeping our 5th wheel cleaner..
Flaps fit well. The clips for the screws on the rear dually mud flaps stripped the threads off 7 of the screws provided. After 2 screws stripped threads off, I removed the mud flaps and the clips from the truck. I then moved over to my work bench. I then proceeded to thread each screw into a clip and watched as the threads rolled over or stripped off in the clips. Only 3 screws survived . I bought better screws. Level of my automotive experience? 50+ yrs as a mechanic (retired now). Thanks
Perfect fit and high quality as usual from Weathertech. Took me about 45m to install. I didn't use the included hardware and just used the plastic plugs and oem screws. Will see if it stays put or may have to use the included screws and clips, which were of high quality btw.
Very easy to install on my 2019 F-350 dually. Took about 15 mins for all 4. Considering my Ford dealer wanted over $1000 to install their Ford mudflaps, I'd say these are a smoking deal. They look great too.

The mud flaps fit perfectly. The screws provided for the rear flaps Were junk. As you started to screw them in the threads fell off and could not screw them in. Ended up having to get other screws. The screws were not made in USA, like the mud flaps.
