This set fits factory mirrors like those pictured above.
These towing mirrors are designed to seamlessly fit the contours of your factory side-view mirrors. Each one includes felt padding inside the housing that protects the factory mirror body from scratches and scuffs. Installation is a snap - just slide the towing mirror over your OEM mirror and insert the provided arm and hand knob through the back of the mirror housing. Then hook the arm around the inside edge of your OEM mirror. Finally, tighten the hand knob to secure the towing mirror in place.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Custom Slide-on Towing Mirrors. These towing mirrors are going to extend your line of sight so it's easier and safer to see your trailer and everything else going on around you, so it's less nerve wracking to drive with that trailer. When you're changing lanes, driving on narrow roads, that sort of thing, you'll be able to see your trailer easier with these extended mirrors. It's going to make it all a lot easier for you, take some of the pressure off.This kit does come with both the driver and passenger side mirrors.
They are going to install very easily. It's not going to take much time at all. You just simply slide them over the factory mirrors, take the little hook here, put that on the mirror and then take the knob and screw it in on the other side. Tighten it down until it is tight. That is going to serve two purposes.
Obviously it's not going to allow your towing mirror to slide off, but then also when you have that nice and tight, it's going to help reduce the vibration of your mirror, so you're going to get a much clearer image as you're driving along. This does have premium glass so it's going to minimize the distortion and glare that you get with mirrors.They do slide onto your OEM mirrors without scratching or harming them. It's not going to reduce your fold-in or breakaway function of your mirror. If you we're to hit a post or something as you we're parking, it would still allow your mirror to fold in like normal.Now this is a custom mirror set, so it is going to fit your 1997-2004 Oldsmobile Silhouette, as well as your 1997-2005 Chevrolet Venture, your 1999-2005 Pontiac Montana, as well as your 1997-1999 Pontiac Trans Sport Van.They do have the dynamic or aerodynamic shape that your OEM mirror has, so it's not going to take away from that and make them any more resistant or anything. They do have a nice black textured finish on the back.
They're going to look nice as well as be functional for you. They are made here in the USA. So you can trust they're made to the high quality standards you've come to know and trust for products made here in the US. They do have a one-year limited warranty that comes from Longview Custom Towing Mirrors. If you we're to have any problems within that first year, you could give them a call.
They would help you out with that. But I really don't think you're going to have any problems. I think these are going to be a great option for you.If your vehicle is one of those, that this is a custom fit for, you can trust it is going to slide right on into that mirror. You're not going to have any problems with that. It's going to do a good job of holding itself onto that mirror so you're reducing that vibration. Purchased these to tow a rented travel trailer. They attached securely and provided just enough extra width to see down the sides of the trailer. Mine have 1000 miles on them, no issues.
While I no longer use these because I upgraded to a bigger truck, these were fantastic on my 1500 Silverado. Quick and easy to put on. Sturdy once tightened. Never had any issue. I never pulled my camper without these!
The custom Longview Mirrors are great fit on my 2025 Ram truck 1500 my Sales Guy will. Is great he knows his stuff. thank you etrailer.
Fair. 1 attachment anchor has poorly fitting threads in the collar thumb screw. Not great casting or damaged somehow.
After running these for a year can make a good review of how they work. First thing is they do not come with enough foam to make them fit tight to the truck mirriors so they vibrate very bad, but to fix that I got some foam tape backed door weatherstrip and added to tighten them up. Made it usable but still vibrates. Don't expect to see anything at all threw the mirriors when idling at a light as there is no way to get that vibration out with having a cummins in the truck. Also these will test how good the bushings are in your mirriors still fighting mine to keep them from constantly folding in on the highway.
All in all these are a very good option for the type of mirriors we have on our truck. I do recommend.
I haven't trailered with them yet, but I did mount them on the truck to see the fit. The mirror assembly was tight, and the interior was padded so as to not scratch the truck mounted mirrors. My only potential concern will be the durability of the plastic hook over time.
The Longview mirrors are a perfect fit! I needed some replacement hardware for them. E-trailer customer service was FANTASTIC. They responded the same day and I had the hardware in 2 days. I highly recommendE-trailer.
Works great when towing having a little truck without being able to see has always been dangerous. I replaced the screw tensioner with a zip tie so I didn't have to always retention it when taking it off and on.
The mirrors were easy to install and left the opening for turn signal lights. The only complaint I have is the mirror glass tend to vibrate a little and seem loose when adjusting. I have clear sight down either side of my trailer.
Overall great product. Easy to install and use, only critique is I wish it fit a little tighter. Tends to have more wind noise then I expected.Loved the fact that etrailer recognized that my first choice would not fit my vehicle and warned me.
The mirror is perfect. It fits exactly well. And it looks good. It blends in as though it was from the factory. However the plastic knob and J bolt are a problem. There is no brass insert in the plastic knob when threading in the J bolt, which also is plastic you must first put a little bit of silicone grease or something on it otherwise it threads in a little bit and breaks right off. Thank you for each Trailer, for sending me a replacement set. You have to be gentle with that J bolt and don't sock it down.
Great Product! These mirrors slip on over the current set. We just purchased a new camper and needed a set of mirrors for towing. I did research and selected these. They look excellent. I like that they do not hide the turn signal contained within the original mirror. Josh was easy to work with and Kaleigh provided excellent support when we had a problem with UPS about the delivery. I highly recommend the product and Etrailer!
These mirrors work really well, giving you a good view down the side of the trailer on both sides. They fit perfectly on my 2019 Ram 1500. They are very durable, easy on easy off they secure very good to your side view mirrors. The only thing that I didn't like, just takes some getting used too, is the mirror is smaller than I would like. Would be excellent if the mirror itself was larger but it's not a deal breaker so a good purchase for safety. If you don't have or want to spend the high dollars to put real tow mirrors on these work great!
These mirrors fit perfectly on my truck, and look like they will remain well secured. I haven't yet had them on the road. Some small felt pads that were supposed to be included with my order were missing, and I have contacted etrailer for some help on that. The molded threads in the plastic knobs didn't fit at first, but I was able to get them to work.
While they fit the mirrors very well, the extension mirrors hold position for about 15 minutes on the road. No way to tighten them so they hold position. I have to adjust them every stop. Frustrating.
Easy to install. Read reviews on them being shaky. I put 1 inch strips of gorilla rubber tape on inside top/bottom, these dont move. They work great for giving me the extra view along side of my trailer. Their not my primary view, but excellent secondary view…
They fit great and allow visual access to the turn signals. A little leary of the plastic rod and threaded bushing. Time will tell on that. So far I'm very pleased and they look great.
I have not used them as of yet, but the fit is very good. The quality is very good as well. I was surprised that I could get towing mirrors for my 2001 Toyota Sequoia.
After a year of using these on my 2022 Ram 1500 while towing my travel trailer I have found nothing to complain about. They fit perfect, work as designed. Install and remove very easy with no damage to my mirrors and the power fold option still works perfect. Signal lights and puddle lights still work as designed with the mirrors on as well.
The mirrors fit perfect. Easy to adjust the mirrors . No distortion from the mirrors, nice clear view. Easy to put on and take off. Four stars for the thickness of the plastic where the "hook" goes through to secure the nut down. Afraid of breaking it when tightening the nut. The cut out for the light is good.
The product was as described and fit on my mirrors perfectly.
Product was shipped in its origin item box which is not built for commercial shipping purposes. Box arrived to my home via UPS very damaged (though I don't actually know if UPS damaged the item box or if the mirrors were shipped in a damaged box by etrailer warehouse).
One star deducted due to this shipping oversight.
Luckily the mirror assemblies were not damaged in any way despite only light packing paper being used to wrap the mirrors in the box.
I bought these for a 2020 Ram. They fit perfectly. They fasten securely to the OEM mirror. Pretty solid and seem to be of good quality, and they don’t cover the mirror turn signals or puddle lights. Would definitely recommend these to a friend.

Just installed them and tried. It would be great if they did not vibrate that much; unfortunately they do; so we will have to find a way to improve it.

After a year review: we decided to get rid of them long ago. Do not waste your money, unless you want to use it for a short period at the time to park, etc.
