Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the Bulldog Winch Sealed Pressure Switch. Now this is a handy thing to have on your air tank to make sure that it maintains a relatively constant pressure. This little switch is going to turn the compressor on whenever it drops below 85 PSI and then it'll kick off whenever it gets to 105 PSI, so it's going to keep it in that range between about 90 and a hundred PSI, so it's pretty simple. We'll have our two wires to connect and then actually attach this to the tank with the NTP fitting here at the end. So it's going to make it pretty simple to get installed. The thread for this is going to be a quarter inch NTP thread.
Again, our pressure is going to. Or our pressure gauge is going to kick on that compressor at 85 PSI and then turn it off at a hundred PSI. Has a max amp rating of 30 amps and it works with 12 volt and 24 volt systems. The total size for this is about two and a half inches long. If you go from the very end of our fitting to the end of the switch, but assuming that it's mounted on your tank, it's about two and a quarter inch long, giving you a little bit of room for those cables to get out.
The wires coming off of there about five and a half inches long, so I have about a five and a half inch lead to work with the connected power and ground. The diameter of this plug is going to be about seven eighths of an inch, so just under an inch wide. It's covered by a one year limited warranty from Bulldog Winch and pretty simple to get that installed and also helps prevent any kind of damage to your compressor. It keeps everything rolling as it should. If you notice, it does have a little boot here to seal it up so that way it won't get damaged from any kind of water or salt or dirt. That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the Sealed Pressure Switch for your Bulldog Winch air tank.
