Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at these Thule locking track knobs. These track knobs are going to replace the standard quick release knobs on your Thule tracrac G2 or SR ladder rack. And the locking bodies are going to prevent the knobs from being loosened so that your rack remains securely in place. When these are locked as they are right now, the top of the knob is going to spin freely just like you are seeing right now. And then once unlocked, I'm gonna go ahead and take one of the two keys that's included here and unlock this. This is going to then engage this cylinder so that you can turn the knob to disengage the thread.
So once again, we have this unlocked, this cylinder is engaged so you can tighten this or loosen this just like you would a normal non-locking knob. And then when you lock the knob, it's going to spin freely so you can't loosen this knob from its position. Now insulation is going to be simple. You just unscrew your existing knobs and screw the locking knobs into place. These are made here in the USA and the stainless steel thread pairs with this composite shell construction for very durable locking knobs.
So you are going to receive everything that you see here on my table. You're going to get two locking knobs and two keys. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy.

The price, however, is quite high.
I love the Trac Racks. I have gotten a lot of complements on them and asked where they can get them. They work great for carrying long boards and other materials that I don't want sticking out of the back of my truck.
These locks are a good idea to keep the thugs for stealing our stuff off the truck. All the times or so and see if nowadays I do not go too far from the truck as it is usually packed with all our camping toys and gear
Although I have not installed them yet, I can see that they’ll work just fine. I have had compliments about the racks already. I received the items promptly and securely. I have enjoyed doing business with etrailer. I hope to do more business in the future!
Seems like a pretty Poor lock, seems like it would be easy to break and gain access to the ratchet underneath where the key is in the locking mechanism I think a simple hammer blower unlock it

So So. I can unlock them and lock them, however they tighten so much that I can not unscrew them. With that said, best thing to buy to ensure someone isnt walking off with your rack.
