Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at this Red Line Linchpin. Now, the pin portion of this linchpin is constructed from low carbon steel, and the ring portion is hot drawn spring steel. And this linchpin is going to feature a corrosion-resistant zinc platting that's going to hold up really well against the elements. Of course, this is going to be a really simple operation.
Once you place this pin through your particular application, you're just gonna close this ring. You wanna be careful that it doesn't accidentally snap down on your finger, or something like that. You'll definitely feel that. So this is going to allow this pin to be secure once you have that ring closed. The diameter of this pin is five 16ths of an inch.
And let me go ahead and give you some other measurements, so you can be confident this is going to work for you. I want to give you the overall length of the pin itself, so measuring from the base of our head or collar, all the way to the bottom of that pin, lining that up there as you can see, we're sitting right at one and three quarters inches long. And then I wanna give you the usable length as well. So that's going to be the length of the pin from the base of our collar, all the way to where this ring closes down. So again, that's the usable length.
