Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at these WeatherTech custom lamp guards. Now these lamp guards have been designed to fit your 2020 to 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty, and then your F-350, F-450 Super Duty and cabin chassis, and then your F-550 cab and chassis. On custom fit parts such as these lamp guards, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if these will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
So let's go ahead and take an overhead look here. You'll get a better view of these. These lamp guards are going to protect your light lenses from scratching, cracking, and pitting by keeping the lenses free from bugs, tar, and other road grime. These feature a double polished urethane construction. They're optically clear, they're incredibly tough, and they have built-in UV inhibitors, which will prevent the covers from drying, hardening, or discoloring.
I wanna give you a closeup right there. As you can see, I've attempted to peel one away just a little bit, so I can just show you what these are going to look like when you pull 'em away from the backing. So like I said, these are going to be optically clear. And these are just going to apply directly to the surface of your lenses in seconds. You're just gonna peel them and stick them on.
Obviously, you wanna follow the instructions that you are going to receive. I believe the instructions talk about making a solution of rubbing alcohol to make sure that those lenses are clear. So make sure you follow the instructions before applying these. Now these will fit perfectly with their die cut vehicle specific design. You will get a squeegee as well to get all the the bubbles out as you're applying this.
But like I said, it's gonna be a pretty simple installation and it's gonna do a great job of protecting your lenses on your headlamps. Well, that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Step is a shown. Very well made and put together.
Haven’t installed yet, hope too soon
Very easy to put on. Excellent Quality!
I threw them away after trying to install. I had help from my girlfriend and if you are not a professional installer don't even consider buying these.
Have never used them. Tried to install one of the headlight covers and it was very difficult and ultimately failed and had to be thrown out. I never did try again after that although I would think if I could get them on correctly they'd probably protect pretty well.
They look good although I have not installed yet. They arrived in great condition and packaged well. Too early to evaluate as to appearance installed. My objective is to protect the headlight lens for stone chips as they are nearly impossible to replace as the car is 26 years old.
This rating is for the side window air deflectors. They have both come off. I tried several times to re-install them. Finally, one of they came off while I was driving on the interstate so it is obviously gone forever.
The roof rack and the front window air deflectors work as intended and I'm very pleased with them.
