What Goes Into The Square Hole At The Middle Of The Hitch?

Question:

What goes into that square hole at the middle of the hitch? I thought it would be a ball, but it doesnt look as though its a ball.

Hello Carolyn, thanks for reaching out. The square hole you are referring to is known as the hitch receiver. What goes into this is called a ball mount, or drawbar such as part # e67DR. The ball then attaches to the ball mount. The # e67DR I mentioned comes with a 2" ball.

Do you know what size of ball your trailer requires?

@JesseM It turns out it didn;t need a ball because it had a square thing that the square thing on the other part matched
