Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Durabilt Webb and round sling shackle with the screw pin has a 25,000 pound working load limit. Now this shackle will serve as the connection point for two pieces of rigging equipment, helps reduce the wear and tear that can be caused by a hook. This one has a nice rounded body, which allows for a nice wider sling bearing surface. So it improves the load distribution and eliminates the bunching effect. And the sling effect efficiencies are increased.
This is designed to fit round sling size numbers seven and eight. The pin right here at the bottom is a one and a quarter inch diameter screw pin. And that makes it easy to connect and disconnect your shackle. You can see just by unscrewing the pin, sliding it out and you make your connection. And then once it's connected, go ahead and put your pin back in and screw it all the way down.
You notice on the shackle itself is a nice red finish to it, which makes it highly visible. And this does meet or exceed the AAF-70 requirements. Application, again, this is for web or round slings up to three inches wide. Safe working load limit again, which is stamped on it is 25,000 pounds. Had less than one to do.
Just to give you a couple of measurements, we're gonna measure the inside height from the top of the pin to the bottom of the shackle. So if we put a ruler on that, it's gonna be right at three inches maximum inside with, from in here to inside here is gonna be right at three and a quarter inches, but that should do it for the review on this durable Webb and round slim shackle with the screw pin, and a 25,000 pound working load limit..
