The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Ultimate is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98841 because it has a matte black finish that matches better with your vehicle plus it is more durable than the glossy black finish on the other options. This is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2" receiver so it will be compatible with more accessories than a 1-1/4" receiver.

If you're planning on doing some towing, then you'll also need wiring and a ball mount kit. I recommend the Tekonsha T-One for wiring as it's the most reliable option. If you have the tow package, then use part # C56332 but if you don't then use part # 118571 instead. To mount this next to the receiver you can use parts # 18140 and # 18144.

Then for a ball mount kit I recommend checking out Kit # 989900 because it includes two ball mounts, one with a 3/4” rise/2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise/4” drop, a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
