Having separate flanges which attach to the vehicle frame rails makes the installation much easier. If desired, rear wheels can be removed and wheel well liners loosened to get full visibility when mounting flanges.
After one trip, the hitch performed as expected. I purchased it and had it installed by a local trailer vendor, which took a bit less than two hours and at a reasonable price (no electrical). It is supporting a bike rack only. The hitch is secure and holds the weight without deflection. The only issue I noticed was that the bike rack would get a bit of a resonating vibration going when the interstate was bumpy - I'd wager it's the rack more so than the hitch, however.
This hitch was super easy to install my 2022 Ionic 5. Perfect fit, easy instructions.
My order was shipped in less than one hour from when I ordered it online. Everything fit as described.
Works well and pretty simple install. Follows the same install guide as the Curt. Recommend just barely threading all the bolts until all the bolts are in and then tightening down.

Install looks great, Craig! Never thought about removing wheels for a hitch install but I can totally see how that would work in some situations to make it easier. Thanks for sharing that tip and the pics.
