Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe Built-In Scale Hitch with two Stainless Steel Balls and for your two inch trailer hitch receiver. Now this ball mount is going to be an ideal choice for those that are looking for a highly durable and easy to use hitch. This features a built-in scale that's going to let you easily measure your tongue weight, and it's going to make sure that you have better towing safety and performance. Now this is going to slide into your two inch trailer hitch receiver.

And as I mentioned, it's going to give you two stainless steel balls. You're gonna get a two and five 16 inch ball and a two inch ball so you can tow different types of trailers. And this is also going to give you, when the shank is in this orientation, a maximum of a six inch drop. And then when you flip that shank over, you'll get a maximum rise of seven inches with an incremental adjustment of one inch. So this is going to be very flexible for various towing setups, giving you the ability to tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle.

Now when you're using the two and five 16ths inch hitch ball, you're gonna have a gross towing weight of 12,500 pounds. The two inch ball is gonna be 10,000 pounds. And then you're gonna have a maximum tongue weight with this unit of 1500 pounds. Now as I mentioned, this does feature a tongue weight scale that's built directly into the ball mount platform. That's gonna help you balance your trailer for safer towing.

This scale is gonna let you know if your load needs to be adjusted before you tow. And it's gonna be a very simple operation. This will automatically provide the measurement every time you couple your trailer. So it's efficient, it's hassle-free, it's going to eliminate the need for separate or commercial scales. This also features a dual pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height very simple.

Lemme give you a brief demonstration of that. I'm gonna remove the included cover here that's used to protect our keyway. And I'm just gonna go ahead and insert the key, give it a turn. That's going to unlock it and allow me to easily remove that. While I have this out, I just wanted to point out the build quality here of this lock. We have pins here that are aluminum, the housing's aluminum, and then our lock is plated steel. So this is gonna be very durable. It's gonna do a great job of securing the ball platform to the shank, and you're not gonna have to worry about corrosion or anything like that. It's gonna do a great job of withstanding that. And if you notice just how easily our ball platform slides up and down this shank. So you're not going to be at the back of your vehicle, struggling to get that height adjustment that you're looking for. And then I wanted to show you, let me go ahead and remove this here real quick. I wanted to show you just how easy it is to swap out the ball. So I'm gonna take off the platform here and I'm gonna give you a view of behind the bear of this ball platform. And if you notice we do have a retaining pin. Now you can either tip this and that pin might slip out, just like that. And if it doesn't slip out, maybe it's due to a towing or something, the pin is in there a little more tightly. You can just pull that ring, and then that's going to allow you to pull that pin out. And then I'm just gonna take out the two and five 16ths inch ball and put in the two inch ball, just like that. You wanna make sure that the holes line up. Then I'm gonna come back around here and reinsert the pin. And then you just wanna make sure that that key ring is flush within that cavity there. And then that's it. Your ball is swapped out, and then you can just replace it on the shank and use that two inch ball for your towing needs. And then to secure it, you're just going to reinsert the dual pin slider lock, lock it up, and you're gonna be secure to go. I'm just gonna go ahead and replace that cap, just like that. So as I hope you can see, this is going to be very easy to use, very easy to get that adjustment that you're looking for. Now this hitch is constructed of aircraft grade aluminum, giving you superior strength and durability. This features a premium black cerakote finish. It's a ceramic coating that is going to give you an extra layer of corrosion resistance, scratch protection, and durability. So not only does this finish make this hitch look great on the back of your vehicle, but if you tow in harsh environments such as salty winter roads or extreme weather conditions, this finish is really gonna hold up well against that. It's gonna protect this hitch, it's gonna keep it looking good, and it's gonna help it work properly for many years to come. Now another added bonus, one of my favorite features that's included with this is going to be a locking hitch pin. That hitch pin lock, rather, that you see here. This is included to keep your amount securely attached to your truck. And everything is keyed alike. You're gonna get four keys here. So one key is going to operate the dual pin slider lock and our hitch pin lock here. And so you're not gonna need separate keys for separate locks. Everything's gonna be keyed alike. And this is going to be really a great way to protect the investment that you're making in this premium hitch. You're gonna be able to lock it up to the back of your vehicle, and then that ball platform is gonna be locked up to the shank. So great theft deterrent that's already built into this system. Some measurements I wanna leave you with in case you're interested. Measuring from the center of the first hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, about eight and a half inches. Moving over to the second hitch pin hole, center to center, about nine and five eights inches. And then from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about one and seven eights inches. So this is going to be really a great hitch to consider if you are demanding reliability, safety, especially with the tongue weight, and durability. If you expect that from your towing equipment, this is really going to be a great item to consider. Again, premium finish.
