1. What is the difference in these 2017 Macan S hitch kits? Full trailer towing kit is needed. Hopefully no dealer programming is needed. a. 1 - Both kits will fit a 2017 Porsche Macan with the difference being that kit # SH24FRT fits a GTS while the kit # SH84FRT is for if you don't have a GTS.
The wiring splices into your OEM wiring so you shouldn't need to have your vehicle reprogrammed by a dealer.
2 - These are rated for 6,000 lbs towing/600 lbs tongue which will be more than enough for your 300 lb trailer and 650 lb motorcycle. The hitch ball height is 18" which is close enough to what you listed to be safe for towing.
We do have some other trailer hitch options for your Macan but we haven't installed them on a Macan personally so I wouldn't know what the hitch height is once installed to recommend the correct ball mount kit.
