Nothing ruins the lines of a car like a chunk of metal hanging below the bumper. This hitch solves that by keeping everything tucked out of sight. The cross tube sits behind the bumper, and the 2" receiver detaches when you’re not using it, leaving no visible hardware. It mounts to existing connection points and doesn’t block ground clearance or a foot-activated trunk sensor. You keep the same sleek look while gaining a solid mounting point for bike racks or cargo carriers.

Whether you’re hauling bikes for a weekend ride or adding storage for a trip, the sturdy center block and 2" receiver give you secure support for hitch-mounted racks and platforms. With a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight, it’s built to handle typical gear setups without stress. The integrated lock keeps the receiver in place, and when you’re done, it removes in seconds with no tools required.
Installing this hitch doesn’t require special equipment or cutting into the vehicle. It’s a simple bolt-on design that uses existing mounting points and protects the vehicle’s crumple zones. Once in place, just latch the detachable receiver into the stainless steel block until it locks automatically. When you’re finished using it, turn the handle, remove the receiver, and cover the opening with the included plug to keep dirt out.

Made from durable stainless steel, this hitch resists corrosion and stays strong after years of exposure to weather and road grime. The black powder coat finish adds another layer of rust protection so it keeps its clean look over time. It meets SAE J684 safety regulations and includes a limited lifetime warranty for long-term peace of mind.

Awesome !!!
Had it for a year, and it’s held up just fine. The only thing that’s failed is the rubber bungee that holds the dust cover over the lock cylinder.
Great product
I love this hitch. Installation was straight forward and the quality is very good. It takes less than 5 minutes to plug in the receiver, mount my bike tray and load 2 bicycles.
As skilled as I am ... it took 45 minutes to do ... love it
Excellent product. Maintains that clean factory look to the car when not in use. Its a stout setup too. I carry some expensive bikes on my hitch rack and never question the integrity of this hitch. Not to mention the stellar customer care. I tell other euro car owners about this hitch all the time. I work at a bike shop and always recommend etrailer.com to my customers who ask for a bike rack and explain how much safer a hitch mounted rack is. Usually when I tell them the shipping is fast and they can find installation videos on the website along with an excellent customer care team, they're sold.
Great hitch and the way it mounts makes it very strong. The bumper cover is some work to remove, so watch a couple Youtube vids on this. After the bumper cover is removed installing the hitch is a breeze.
I gave the product only 4 stars because I didn't realize i would lose the tow hook threaded mount that is part of the OE bumper reinforcing beam that is removed and replaced by the hitch. If Stealth had incorporated this in the hitch then it would be 5+ stars.
Thank you for helping me out. I appreciate the customer service you and etrailer provided! It all ended up working perfectly.
Great fit for my 2008 328xi Wagon.
Great product and fit and instructions from etrailer. I would give this product 5 stars if you could still thread in your OEM tow hook that you lose when you remove the crash bar.
Some things your install people, and realistically the manufacturer should be aware of since the instructions were incomplete and in some places wrong. Here was my submitted review: Installed on a 2012 BMW 328i xDrive Sport Wagon and the directions missed some important parts. First off the bumper facia has two 8mm screws on the corners that you access after unscrewing the wheel well cover. I broke the tab on the first side because the instructions say there are just tabs to press down. See pictures. Second, there is a backup sensor mounted right where the hitch has to go, you have to clip the bracket off and zip tie the sensor to the hitch pictured. Third, on each side of the hitch where it bolts to the frame you have to trim some of the plastic in order for the hitch to be able to sit flush Both sides, pictured, and finally, you do have to trim some of the underbelly cover in order to gain access to the lock. The instructions claim there is no cutting but there definitely is. Cant rely on the instructions to be accurate so take your time with this one to do it right.

Thank you for the very detailed review and for taking the time to include pictures, Gared. That kind of firsthand feedback is incredibly helpful for both us and other customers working through the same install. I agree, the instructions in this case do not sound like they were as clear or accurate as they should have been, and that is frustrating. It does not make it right. Your notes about the hidden 8 mm screws, the backup sensor relocation, the plastic trimming at the frame mounts, and the underbody cover access are exactly the kinds of details that should have been called out more clearly. We really appreciate you documenting everything so thoroughly. I will be forwarding this over to the manufacturer so they are aware of the issues and can review the instructions.
