Question:
Will an 08 335i hitch hold up to a roughly 400lbs motorcycle hitch mounted carrier not a trailer?

Hey Axel! The highest tongue weight rating for a hitch on the 2008 BMW 335i is 350 lbs found on the Stealth Hitches # SH44VR. It will not be able to hold your 400 lb motorcycle and carrier. Even if it could, I doubt your 335i is rated for 400 lbs of tongue weight. The best solution would be to get the # SH88VR with a towing kit and pull your motorcycle on a small trailer.
