This custom-fit trailer hitch with a hidden cross tube installs behind your vehicle's rear bumper, leaving only the receiver visible. Aluminum and steel alloy construction is durable and eco-friendly. Stainless steel receiver resists corrosion.

Specs:
The EcoHitch Hidden trailer hitch is designed to be as inconspicuous as possible. The hitch's cross tube bolts onto your vehicle's frame, behind your rear bumper. No drilling or welding is required. Once the hitch is installed, only the receiver will be visible beneath your bumper. This means that your vehicle can maintain its stylish, from-the-factory look, and you won't have to do any major modifications to its body or frame.
With a combination of aerospace-grade aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, each EcoHitch is made of a strong metal alloy that will withstand the test of time. The lightweight alloy is composed of recycled materials. Traditional steel hitch manufacturing can use coal or oil, which can contribute to harmful gas emissions. The EcoHitch's recycled materials limit the carbon footprint during manufacturing, so you get a sturdy trailer hitch while also helping the environment.
This EcoHitch trailer hitch is tested for durability and sturdiness. Using Finite Elemental Analysis (FEA), individual points of stress on the hitch can be detected and remedied. Designers can accurately test the hitch to ensure that it will meet or exceed SAE J684 standards. The EcoHitch Hidden trailer hitch is carefully researched and strength tested for a durable, high-quality hitch that can resist damage while on the road.

Great looking hitch on my new Corolla Cross Hybrid! Was really happy that the bumper cover didn’t have to be removed for the install. Works great hauling my bikes. Only small gripe was that there wasn’t an install video on your website.
The provided instructions were very accurate, including specifically identifying the most difficult points of the installation. The hitch can be installed by a normal person as long as you have a torque wrench and ratchet set. The modification needed to your Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid is minimal - you just need to notch out a 3"x5" rectangle in the underside of the plastic bumper cover. No removal of the bumper, taillights, etc. was necessary. No drilling. The hitch itself is really sturdy and arrived in pristine condition very quickly.
This is one of the more PITA installs I have done, and it definitely felt more like a hack than a plug-and-play between scraping off sealant to reveal hidden frame holes, fishing bolts back into the frame, and awkward ratchet angles to (temporarily) remove the bumper without removing the bumper cover - just in order to reveal frame holes through which to fish the bolts.
My biggest complaint is that some of the bolt holes are not large enough to fit the bolt plus the fishwire, even though you're supposed to leave the fishwires on to keep the bolts from permanently disappearing into the frame. This led to plenty of swearing on my part and some bent/broken fishwires but ultimately it worked out.
I place most of the blame on Toyota for not building in easy frame mounting points for a hitch. It's a strong and creative solution that fits well and will easily handle loads up to (and maybe occasionally above) the rated towing capacity. I'm still giving it five stars despite the annoying install because it is very well built and elegantly engineered to fit this vehicle.

When the hitch companies started designing trailer hitches so they'd be more concealed once installed, the difficulty level of the install procedure definitely went through the roof. We're sorry for all the colorful language that was used, but we're glad you've gotten it figured out!
