The honda passport 2026 trailer hitch installed fine.
Used a car ramp with some boards and a carpet to support the hitch during the install. Disconnected the rubber rear muffler supports to provide room to work. First partially installed one bolt on each side of the hitch closest to the front of the suv. This allowed the hitch to hang on an angle to mark the vertical trim lines on the rear facia. Then removed the four plastic fasteners to free up the rear facia, allowing the trimming to be done from the rear of the vehicle, instead of from underneath. Installed the other hitch bolts, reinstalled the facia fasteners, looks good.
Hitch fits perfect with minor trimming of the bumper, but nothing crazy. Overall, definitely worth over the more expensive OEM one, especially because all we’re using it for is a one up bike rack
