Did not fit on the vehicle at first because the slots were not wide enough and/or the metal was bent. Had to forcibly bend the metal in order for it to fit.
I love Curt hitches and buy them from ETrailer.com. That way I get a great product for a reasonable price. I received the hitch and wiring on Monday and I installed both on Tuesday in less than an hour by myself! The hitch was packaged well (in a box) and was shipped quickly.

Have a 2001 Rx300 Lexus suv put the hitch on it and it tows wonderful. Easy to install and works great would refer etrailer to all my friends.

Just finished installation of my Curt hitch on my 2000 Lexus RX300. Couldn't have been easier....simple easy to follow directions. Did it be myself, so took me about 55 minutes.... I highly recommend you guys. My hitch arrived on time, packed very well. Now I'm headed out to install wiring harness....thanks to your video, I feel confident this will go just as quickly and easy. Great product and perfect fit for my 2003 Lexus RX300.
Easy installed by one person and was not problems.
Very nice hitch for my 2001 Lexus RX300. The hitch does not protrude past the bumper which will prevent banged up knees. It is unobtrusive yet very solid looking and perfectly matched for the tow rating of the vehicle.
Two things about the installation which BTW did take more than 30 minutes:
1. A heat shield which is riveted to the body does partially block one of the holes in the frame rail. It is hard to get in there with a socket. I removed the hanger bolts for the muffler then bent the heat shield out of the way just enough to get a socket on the bolt.
Note: You won't be able to replace the hanger bolts with the hitch mounted so hang the muffler back up before trying to mount the hitch. Bend the heat shield back once the bolts are properly torqued.
2. The instructions call for 48 foot pounds on the bolts which is a lot tighter than one might think, so it is best to use a torque wrench. I also applied some thread lock to the bolts in order to help prevent loosening.
The washers are slightly convex and my only complaint is that the instructions do not indicate which side goes towards the frame rail.
All in all this is a really nice hitch that IMO looks way better than the others sold on this site.
Im very please with this trailer hitch. It was very easy to put on. I read the instructions and watched a youtube video which gave great pointers especially with the exhaust sheild. I use it for my bike rack on my wifes lexus. I would highly recommend this hitch.
The hitch that I purchased from you works as promised for a fair price. The installation went fine, without a "hitch".

I bought this hitch from etrailer a month ago and it was one of the best online buying experiences I have had.
1. The web site was very inclusive of any information I wanted, including videos of installation and time to install estimates.
2. The process of ordering was smooth and seamless.
3. The post order communications was absolutely the best. My hitch was in stock and I received numerous emails stating the status of the order (order received, processed, shipped, tracking, etc) and came quickly without issue. The wiring harness was not available and I was told about it right after ordering with a personal phone call and and an ETA, and also a couple of options for alternative in stock products.
4. I was not certain how a hitch could be shipped without damage but etrailer packaged this perfectly and it came without damage or even a scuff to the paint.
5. The hitch came with all the right hardware and fit great.
6. The powdercoat finish was very well done without any missed spots or paint buildup.
I remember reading another reviewer when I was buying and they said something like 'I wish all my other internet purchases were handled as well as etrailer', and now I know what they mean.
I would recommend etailer to anyone, and would definitely buy from them again.

The product was just as stated on the website. Fit, description and installation were as exactly stated and has replaced an old worn hitch I previously had.

Received the trailer hitch for my 2003 Toyota Highlander and was very pleased with its workmanship. Installed just as easy as the instructions in the video.

I order the hitch by make and model of my vehicle and it was easy to install and works great.
This trailer hitch installed easily and fit perfectly on my 2001 Toyota Highlander. It seems excellently manufactured and of very high quality. It has worked perfectly for using a bicycle rack to transport my bike.

After one year, the trailer hitch is still working very well and holding up nicely. No defects of any sort have appeared, and I have had no issues at all with it.
Purchased for a 19-year old 2001 Toyota Highlander. Delivered promptly. Installation at an auto repair shop was simple despite the age of the car; 45 minutes at most. I use it with a 2-bike rack and take it around the city, on highways and out in the country. It's rock steady; great performance at a great price.

The hitch has met all of my expectations. A solid performer. Worry free.
Holes did not line up. Had to pull hitch pry bar to get 5 of 6 bolts to fit and had to Waller out the last hole to get bolt in.
Ordered on Saturday, shipped on Saturday and arrived on Wednesday. The hitch and wire harness were easy to install - from start to finish took a little over 1 hour. All holes lined up with no adjustments. Looks Great!
Precise size and always good quality. This is my 4th Curt hitch on my 4th car, never let me down. I don't haul the trailers, but I do use it for the bike holder. Availability of the hitch eliminates the time wasting for folding the second row of seats, disassembling and assembling front wheels, loading and unloading. Put on the holder and go.
This hitch can be installed by one person as well. I spend 30 mins to do that with the great help of the jack, which was part of the standard car equipment.

No issues, rusty a bit - normal wear.
The whole were not a perfect match but I made it work.
Other than that, it does the job. I have a very light trailer and the Toyota can't pull much.
The welding warped it. Took lots of work to install and get the bolt holes to line up properly.
First one I received would not fit because the slot pattern is wrong, from left to right. The spacing front to back is fine, but the slots are not spaced far enough apart. Contacted e trailer and they sent me a new one. It is exactly the same, which means this model has a major manufacturing error. I have a big die grinder and a carbide burr and extended the slots on one side to make it fit. Etrailer was fine to work with, but this particular hitch is manufactured incorrectly.
Great service. The hitch fit, but holes were almost not lined up. Had to fight it a bit, but it worked.
Oh boy, I'll try to keep it short. Wife and I got screwed over by [auto parts store] twice! Ordered a Draw-Tite hitch for my 2003 Toyota Highlander and their website has you enter your vehicle information to guarantee the fit. Well, 2 hitches ordered and both did not fit my vehicle and each return [auto parts store] just shrugged...
I called etrailer to ask questions about the fit for this Curt Receiver for my Highlander and was told it will fit. I was hesitant of course but here I am pleasantly surprised. Great quality receiver, shipping time was a breeze (even during this pandemic) and my mechanic installed it in less than 15 minutes. Thank you for providing great service and having quality parts in your inventory!
It was very easy to install it came with all hardware. It has a nice thick finish coat of paint on it ,very nice ,I use it for my bike rack and to haul my Honda jet ski to the river and lake thank you
