The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek (Non-Hybrid) is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98838 which is a direct bolt-on fit with no cutting or drilling required. This trailer hitch in particular has a matte finish whereas the other options are glossy and the matte finish will help the trailer hitch blend in with the vehicle more.
The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2003 Toyota Highlander is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13429 which also features a bolt-installation with no cutting or drilling required. There are not many differentiating features for the trailer hitch options for this vehicle so whichever is most cost effective at the time is what I recommend.
