This hitch gives you the versatility to tow or carry just about anything you need for work or play. With a 2" x 2" receiver opening and Class III rating, it’s rated for up to 6,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 600 lbs tongue weight. When used with weight distribution, those numbers jump to 10,000 lbs GTW and 1,000 lbs TW. That’s plenty of muscle for small campers, boats, or utility trailers without stepping into heavy-duty territory.
The hitch is made from steel that’s fully welded for durability and rigidity. A gloss black powder coat finish sits over a protective base coat to fight off rust and corrosion. It’s tough enough to handle regular towing and still look clean under the bumper. The visible cross tube design keeps things simple while offering solid support where it counts.
This one bolts right up to your frame—no welding needed. Everything you need for mounting comes in the box, including the complete hardware kit and installation instructions. It’s designed for a straightforward install in your own driveway with basic tools. Precision robotic welding helps ensure everything lines up right where it should, so you spend less time struggling with fitment and more time getting ready to tow.

Super easy install, nice power coat finish. Been on the truck a year now, use it on a regular basis and still looks brand new! Very happy with this hitch.

I would like to say this went on without a hitch, but that wouldn't be true (sorry I couldn't resist). Anyway the product is exactly what it says. I think my install time was 40 minutes, but that included the time I took to wirebrush the bottom of my truck and spray with rust protector. I am extremely happy with the quality of the product.

I am very satisfied with the Curt trailer hitch receiver. I was so happy with the service from e-trailer, that I used them again with adding new lights and wiring to a 40 year old trailer. Again the application really worked great.
Product was exactly as advertised. Fit perfectly on my Suburban. Didn't even need to drill holes out on frame! etrailer.com provided great videos on how to install the hitch (videos were located on their website). Could not have asked for a better experience. Hitch price was cheaper than other sites and shipping was fast and free!

Will a 96 yukon hitch fit a 03 yukon?
Hitch arrived as promised. Fit my vehicle ('97 Suburban) perfectly. Instructions for installation were good although the actual installation took more time than estimated due to some quirks of the vehicle. I use the hitch to tow a drift boat and it has performed as promised. Great price when compared to commercial installation estimates. I would certainly purchase another hitch from Curt Trailer Hitch when the need arises.
