Question:
Hello, I have a roll pan on my Tahoe and they cut off the last hole where the original tow bar attaches to and the frame is cut to only have 1” past the middle hole. The truck also has 3” body lift leaving a majority of the frame exposed. I am curious if there is a tow hitch that would fit this application?

Expert Reply:
It sounds like your frame has been shortened or notched. From the sound of it, I don't believe the Curt Class III # C13029 will fit any longer. I recommend the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver - 18"-51" Wide # C13701 due to the changes your frame. There will not be a custom fit for your application, so you will need to customize the hitch to fit your needs.
