The hitch arrived within days of ordering and it was relatively easy to install. We have not actually used the hitch yet, but it looks great.
Pretty easy assembly. The wires that come with it to help put the bolts in was an extreme success. Those wires made it so much easier than having to try to thread it ourselves. We thought it was going to be harder than it was it honestly wasn’t that bad at all. We would recommend this hitch to anybody that asked about a hitch for a Nissan kicks 2018 or 2019. It looks great. It doesn’t stick out. It hauls our pop up trailer great. You can barely tell it’s even pulling it.
Hitch is built EXTREMELY well, installation directions are clear, all hardware is included, (very clever, with the fish wire!), instructional video is SO on point & helpful, plus shipping & delivery is unmatched by others: especially with the tracking updates. 100% positive experience from order to installation. Highly recommended.

Bought for a 2022 Nissan Kicks; great product! It was easy to install by following the video instructions available on the parts purchase page. I would watch before purchasing to ensure you are prepared for the tasks required. I had to modify my heat shield much more than the instructions say to get a good fit. However, that was the only small issue. Otherwise, it’s going to work out great.
The box arrived damaged and it would be nice if Curt would somehow protect the hitch unit from exiting both ends as mine did. Overall it is well built and nicely painted. The instructions are not user friendly either. Install tip: Ensure that once you have the unit up and the nuts on loose that the unit is pushed to the RIGHT side of the vehicle. By doing this you will leave just enough room to get the rear 10mm bolt reinstalled on the EPA can. You will not need to enlarge that hole. I found out the hard way; once it was up and tightened. Ensure that when you grind the front openings on the frame, that you “elongate them from front to back. NOT side to side. Meaning... with the length of the frame. Install the heat shield first before you install the unit and only after you make room for the right side mounting plate. Mark it and cut it but it doesn’t need to be any more than 2 1/2”. I also found it easier to work with the EPA can by unsnapping the outer protective covering.
The video you had online made it easy to install. Works great!

After one year, hitch still excellent on 2019 Nissan Kicks, mostly for bike rack.

We use this to carry a bicycle rack. Installation was pretty easy if you know your way around tools. a heat shield needed to be removed for the Nissan Kicks but had no bearing on performance or noticeable heat. Great Product and works well.

I purchased this product primarily to use for my bike rack. The instructions say that there is no drilling but we found that it is not the case as we had to blow out the holes in my frame. But other then that no other problems. Oh yeah, you will definitely need a lift to do this job. Also instruction could be clear, as far the heat shielding.. but I love being the only one with a hutch on his Kicks.... lol
Installation was easy, but would help to have a second person to speed up the process.
The product has good quality and after one year under my car and in New England it has held up really well.
The quality of this hitch is top-notch! The welds are perfect and the paint is stellar. I followed the instructional installation video and I was successful.
Install was Quick, less than an hour lying on my back and using Jack stands. If I had a Lift would have been 30 minutes or less.

It's Heavener than I thought it was going to be. It's very well made, I have installed receiver hitches before and I think you do a very good job making it.

Was fairly easy to install. Though it did say no drilling required, it should have warned that a die grinder was required. Luckily I had a grinder and was able to complete the install.
Looks great. Super easy installation that can be done by one person.
I am very impressed with the product and customer service, I will shop here again and I encourage others to do so as well.
