Question:

My wife has a new 2023 Nissan kicks and would like to get a hitch mount. It’s purpose would be to mount a bike rack or rear carrier platform. I know they have them for the 2022. Will there soon be one available?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11563 has been confirmed to fit your new 2023 Nissan Kicks. This is a class I receiver with a 1-1/4" opening for hitch mounted accessories. You will need to ensure you use hitch mounted accessories specifically made to work with a class I receiver.

The Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202 is a great bike rack which is easy to use and rated to work with your class I receiver. It weighs just 45lbs and is capable of carrying 2 bikes up to 65lbs each. A 36" ramp is included to make loading and unloading your bikes much easier.

The 19x47 Curt Cargo Carrier # C18110 is safe to use with your class I receiver. The carrier weighs 30lbs and has a tray which is 47-3/4" long x 19-11/16" wide x 2-11/16" tall.

I recommend installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C46CR when you install the receiver. This will allow you to easily connect Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if your bikes or gear on your carrier impair the view of the tail lights on your Nissan.
