Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT94GR weights 39 pounds. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11563 weights 27 pounds.
I would recommend going with the Draw-Tite hitch # DT94GR. It will give you more options on towing trailers, and more options for accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers. There is only a few options for the Curt 1-1/4 inch hitch # C11563.
The Draw-Tite Hitch has an easy-bolt on installation with no welding required. It has a black powder coat finish that covers a e-coat base which offers a superior rust protection.
The maximum gross trailer weight of the hitch is up to 2,000 pounds and has a maximum tongue weight up to 300 pounds. I would recommend checking your vehicle's manual to find out the proper towing capacity for your vehicle.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118794 has a 4-flat connector and will make it to where your trailer's stop, turn and taillights will mirror your vehicle's stop, turn and taillights.
The custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. you will have to remove the tail light assemblies to access this harness.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A Mounting Bracket # 18144 is sold separately. It is recommended to keep the connector secure when it is not in use.
The Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45554 will be used with the 2 inch Draw-Tite hitch above this kit includes an 8-1/4 inch long, powder coated ball mount with a pre-torqued hitch ball; hitch pin and clip; hitch receiver lock with keys; hitch cover; and a storage case.
I attached a couple installation video links below.
