This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver is built for everyday towing and hauling. The trailer hitch receiver part# 13199 was a perfect fit for my 2008 Nissan Titan, it was delivered on time as promised in excellent condition and it took me under one hour to install (DIY),And a great price too. This is super easy to do anybody could do it you don't even need another person to help you it does make it easier you can just use a couple car jack stands or milk crates just to set the hitch on but it took me about 10 minutes to put it in super simple thank you

I ordered my hitch receiver after reading any reviews about etrailer. From the order itself to the product, ease of installation and follow ups, the five stars were very well earned. The process was very transparent, and the hitch receiver was of a very high quality. I'm not very handy (to say the least), but even I managed to install it without issues. Kudos to etrailer for providing top products combined with fantastic customer service.
I purchased the hitch for my 2006 Nissan Titan. The price was excellent after comparing to other stores, web sites and the Nissan Dealership. Probably 20% less expensive, especially compared to the dealership. The product shipped on time, was delivered on time, and attached to the vehicle perfectly. The installation video was a great help. I subsequently purchased a bike carrier to attach to hitch with same results. I highly recommend etrailer and will use again in future purchases.
The hitch is great but when the instructions mention removing tow hooks they are referring ti large metal brackets that must be removed. These are factory installed using ten bolts that most likely are installed with an air impact tool. The 30 minute installation turned into hours. Once the brackets are removed the install is a snap. Just make sure you have a large wrench or breaker bar extension for the first part. Would rate excellent had I had this info ahead of time. Now you do.
My son is very happy with the purchase of new hitch for his pickup.

The usual great service from etrailer.com. I ordered the hitch for my son’s 2004 Nissan Titan pickup. The hitch arrived two days after I ordered it which allow us to get the hitch installed in a timely manner. We did the install ourselves. Directions were clear and looking at the video online helped as well. The hitch will come in handy so that he can place a bike rack on the truck now. Thanks again etrailer!
This is a solid trailer hitch. Fits my 2005 Nissan titan perfectly using the OE factory holes; 30 minutes, 6 bolts, torqued, Done!

Minuses:
- For a hitch this high quality, curt should include a cheap rubber cap.
- It should be better protected in the box. My box came open in transport and already had some gouges in the finish. Guess where rust will begin first?!
You Should
- Wire brush the bolt holes and dryfit the bolt prior to final install.
- Have someone to help hold it in place. I didn't, but it would help.
- Buy a locking pin with key.
- Buy a rubber cap for when receiver is not in use.
I love mine, and you will too.
Bought this hitch and the 7/4 way plug and relay kit for my daughter's Titan as a Christmas present. She was excited and wanted to install it herself. The products are great quality and the videos extremely helpful. I had her watch the videos, got out the 1/2 impact and cordless drill and turned her loose. With minor supervision and help she had it all installed in less than 45 minutes. The hitch bolted right on with the bolts provided. We did drill some pilot holes for the 2 self tapping screws provided for the 7/4 way plug bracket only because I was afraid we might dull one before it cut through. For anyone with a general knowledge of tools and their uses this project is a snap. I highly recommend these products.

I installed the Curt hitch on my 2008 LWB Nissan Titan 4X4. I have an impact wrench so I had the old one off and the new one on in about 20 minutes. Using a motorcycle jack for support, I did this alone. The folks at etrailer are great!

Thanks for the email. All is good with the hitch, it is holding up well and the brake controller works like a champ. Towed my 8X12 dual axle cargo trailer from FL to Nevada with 2 Harleys and gear, then from FL to Cape Cod and return. Never had a problem with the hitch or controller. Great products.

Absolutely perfect fit on my '06 Titan.
The little instructions paper says 15 mins for a professional and 35mins for a novice. Took me 5 mins in my garage with a harbor freight impact wrench so I guess I'm an expert or something.

Awesome hitch, bolted up fast took about 20 mins. Looks good and feels strong I've already tested it pulling another truck on a trailer behind my Titan. Would buy another in the future if I get another truck without a hitch.
Extremely easy to install just like the installation video demonstrated! There were no "uh-oh's" or glitches whatsoever.
A word of advice, you will need an air wrench or a cheater bar when removing the bolts of the tow-hooks. You will also need an extra set of hands to hold the receiver in place while threading receiver bolts.
I would definitely recommend this product, as well as etrailer.com!
