This is going to replace one worn or damaged ball and socket gas strut from your boat's hatch lid or compartment door. It's going to extend to ease the lifting of your hatch lid and compresses to gently close your hatch without slamming. And this is a 10 millimeter ball and socket installation.
Gonna simply attach to the ball studs on the inside of your boat's hatch. This is constructed of heat treated steel, so it is durable. And it's going to feature a corrosion resistant coating that's going to make it great for saltwater environments. Now, just giving you the overall length that we're gonna be measuring socket to socket, we are sitting right at 26 inches long. And this has a compression force of 150 pounds.
