Then we're going take a look at the JR Products Gas Spring End Fittings for gas shocks, it's for a quantity of two. Now these Gas Spring End Fittings will replace a damaged end fitting on your gas shock. They are a composite construction for strength and durability, and they do use the M6 thread here for attaching to the end of your gas shock. Basically you just unscrew your damaged one off your shock and then screwed the new one right back on. Does fit a 10 millimeter ball has the 10 millimeter ball socket right here. And just to show you how this would install, let me go ahead and zoom in a little bit to show you the detail on this, but there's your 10 millimeter ball socket, and then right above that as this retaining ring.So what you'll do to install this is slide a flat tip screwdriver under that retaining ring, pop it up.
That'll release pressure on there, and then you'll be able to snap this onto the 10 millimeter ball. Once it's on there, push that retaining ring back down and it'll secure it in place. So it's a very easy installation and this part does include the two end fittings. But that should do it for the review on the JR Products Gas Spring End Fittings for gas shocks for a quantity of two.

JR Products gas spring end fittings replace ends on gas springs with M6 thread size and fits 10-mm ball.This is my best online find in years! It is a perfect fitting part that solved my problem cheaply! I needed one for a gas spring used on my pickup truck bed cover and couldn't find them anywhere but here. In my situation, the gas cylinders were both fine, all I needed was this end, which is what wore out. Auto parts stores only sell gas springs as a whole, which cost upwards of $50 for one - and many only sell them in pairs to boot. So, I was no dummy and went ahead and bought 2 packages (4 ends) for under $20 shipped to my door and replaced them all, figuring that if one wore out, the rest weren't too far behind it. Thank you etrailer for saving me a ton of money and providing me with the exact part I needed to get back up and running with my truck bed cover. Handling and (standard) shipping were very slow, but that isn't a knock on this product whatsoever - and I didn't mind, because like I said, this was exactly what I needed when nobody else had it.
This is exactly what I needed!!! I looked for a long time but only found these on e-trailer!
Just the part I needed to fix my spa cover, a heavy wind blew the cover up and cracked the end fittings. You couldn't buy those fittings without replacing the entire part which would have cost xx.xx for both sides. This way, it's fixed for a few dollars.
Works Great for my use. They have 6-mm threads i used the 10-mm ball stud along with the spring end fitting to make a bucket level indicator for my tractor.

Awesome customer service A+++. While not yet installed, the part appear to be better quality then from the OEM. We'll be able to save huge money by only replacing the needed repair end and not the whole cylinder assembly!
