Today we are taking a look at the Tow-Rax all aluminum, bolt on style of two-cup cup holder. Something really cool about the openings here, they are going to be large enough for several different styles of cup. Whether we are doing the larger car cups that kind of step down there at the bottom, but they are also going to work out great for bottles or if we're using some type of aluminum cans that we might have a koozie around. You'll be able to fit lots of different items in and out of there without big issue. It's a full aluminum constructions. We're not going to have to worry about corrosion or anything like that and it's going to be a lot sturdier than plastic when we start sliding around or slipping around or somebody accidentally bumps it.

We're not going to have to worry about it being crushed. Now as you can see, this is a fully customizable cup holder so anywhere on our back panel here, we're going to be able to drill a few holes or use a couple self-tapping screws to secure it to whatever mounting surface that we like. Something else I think would be really cool is being able to drill a couple holes and mount your track system right on to your cup holder and then we can bring it down and just be able to move it wherever we wanted to if your boat was equipped with a sliding track rail system that a lot of boat have these days. We've got two nice large cup holder openings to allow us to put our drinks down there and keep them safe as we're heading down the river. Now that we've kind of gone over what it is, let's take a look at how we're going to install it in today's application. Now our holder is going to come with the hardware that we need to mount it, a couple self-tapping screws here. What we're going to do to keep it kind of clean looking and nice looking up top, we just going to put a couple self-tapping screws right in down here on each side, right into the front of the boat there.

Let's get those positioned marked very quickly. We have our two hole locations. Now I'm going to use a five 30-second drill bit just to kind of get a hole started. Our self-tappers will take care of the rest and get an exact fit. Let's get them started there and we'll finish our holes off the boat because nobody like aluminum in their feet.

We've got our holes drilled out there. We'll get it mounted in place. As far as mounting goes, we're putting it right down here on the floor. We'd be able to mount this also on any reasonably flat surface around the boat, just like this on the side. We're going to center it with our door here. That should be in the middle of our boat.

It should give it the most aesthetics. Let see, that's 17, so we're going to be 8-1/2. (drilling) That's really all there is to it. Nice and secure. We don't have to worry about it going anywhere and it will do a great job of holding our goodies. With that wrapped up, that's going to complete today's look at the Tow-Rax two-drink cup holder.
