Keep the interior of your vehicle clean with this functional, custom floor mat. Rear liner has a rigid plastic core for durability, and its unique, rubberized outer shell grips carpeting while it channels and traps water and debris.
Features:
WeatherTech floor liners accurately and completely line the interior carpet of your vehicle, providing "absolute interior protection" for your car, truck, minivan or SUV. Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we're talking about the WeatherTech rear auto floor mats and our 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now this is gonna be a great option for you, especially if you have kids 'cause they're gonna be playing outside, getting in the mud, dirt, rocks, and dragging that all back into your vehicle. This is gonna be a great way to catch a lot of that debris and help keep your car a lot cleaner. So let's check it out. The way this is gonna fit into place, we're gonna have these little holes on the bottom of your mats. And what those are gonna do is they're gonna line up with the anchor points in your car, and help attach 'em down.
This is gonna provide you a pretty snug fit and prevent it from sliding around. Now as you can see, it's still a little bit loose right here. There's a little bit of a gap, but if you see, if I've just applied pressure, that's really gonna form across a vehicle a lot better. And with time and heat, maybe you have this in a hot day or your kids are back here and their feet are resting here, that's gonna provide this. It'll give you the opportunity to really mold to the shape of your vehicle.
And you'll notice we have these high sidewalls. That's gonna be a big factor in keeping any debris from falling out of here and keeping it in contained. Now we do have this gap right up front and you might think that is a potential area for debris to get into, but in all actuality, we have this seat all the way forward. So you're probably gonna have this back a fair bit. So there's, it's gonna be very unlikely for their feet to get anywhere past this point.
And then we're gonna have these raised surfaces in the center. Those raised surfaces gonna help keep their feet up and above any of that grime or debris from getting back onto their shoes. And what I really like about the design we have today is the center. This point right here is gonna be covered. There's plenty of floor mats out there that just cover one on each side, but they don't prevent any or have any coverage in the center.
This covers in the center is going to help you a lot because with a lot of people being back here or having kids back here, they're gonna move around a whole lot. And so this area right here is gonna be pretty much a hot point for their feet to land on. So having this coverage's gonna help keep this a lot cleaner. The con of having such a large mat, though, is it's gonna be a lot more difficult to take out and clean 'cause once I remove all these anchor points and we try to lift up on this, you really see when I lift up, this is kind of hard to move and already is at this pretty extreme angle. And if you have a big spill or a lot of debris in here, a lot of that's gonna fall back inside of your vehicle. So there are a couple things you can do to help combat that. One, you can grab a friend on the other side. They can help level things out. But I really, what I really recommend is if you have any spills in here, come by with a rag first. Wipe that up. You don't have to get everything, just a majority of it so it doesn't come back out. Or if there is a lot of crumbs or any dirt, debris, like that, come in with a vacuum first and just get a majority of that. Once you get that big stuff, I think taking this out is gonna be a lot easier. Overall though, I think this is gonna be a great option for you, even though you do have to put in the extra work to clean it off just a little bit before you really dump it out. That extra coverage it offers you, though, is gonna help in the long run keep this much cleaner. Now, if you're not a big fan of this center point, how they're connected, there are other options. We actually tried the Grand Cherokee L versions of these. And the difference is they don't have the center point that connects them together. There's just gonna be two individual mats that sit back here and honestly, it is a lot easier to take in and out. If you're looking for something more like that, that's also gonna be a great option. But me personally, I do like that center area being covered because a lot of dirt and debris is gonna hit that point. But that's just a look at the WeatherTech rear auto floor mats and our 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Thanks for watching.
