Keep the interior of your vehicle clean with this functional, custom floor mat. Rear floor mat has a rigid plastic core for durability, and its unique, rubberized outer shell grips carpeting while it channels and traps water and debris.
Features:
WeatherTech floor liners accurately and completely line the interior carpet of your vehicle, providing "absolute interior protection" for your car, truck, minivan or SUV. Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

If you're trying to add to the look of your 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, or you just wanna prevent this stuff from getting into your carpet. Well, the WeatherTech second row floor mats are gonna be a great barrier from all that stuff that's on the bottom of your feet just to keep your car looking just as new as the day you bought it from the dealership. This isn't just some universal floor mat. This is a custom-fit specifically for the second row of your Jeep Grand Cherokee L. So they take a laser measurement of all this to get the perfect fit and notice how all of our edges are super tall and raised. So if you do have a couple spills it should hold pretty much a couple bottles of water, worth of water in there.
So it's not gonna get into your carpet. And that just takes so long to dry, and it's such a pain and it just goes underneath our seat here. So that's kind of where your feet go, if you're a taller person. And the nice thing about this is it does utilize the little knobs on the floor of our Jeep to make sure that it doesn't move around. So that's what the factory floor mats use and that is what the WeatherTechs use as well.
Notice we don't have like any little bumps on the bottom to keep it from sliding because we really don't need it. One, with these snaps, they're really not gonna move but since it's such a good fit, it just kind fits in there perfectly where it really doesn't wanna move, even without these. It's gonna be the same fit on both sides, both the driver and the passenger side, it's made of a high density tri-extruded material. So it has a rigid core on the inside. So it has a little bit of properties of rubber 'cause it's not completely plastic.
You do have a little bit of grit here so it's not gonna be slippery but it's also going to be relatively tough as well. So it's gonna be, not gonna scratch up that easy. If you start throwing stuff in here, it's really not gonna do a whole lot of damage. The kids got spikes on their shoes, maybe soccer, baseball whatever it may be. It's not gonna puncture through.
They're a lot easier to clean than the carpet mats that they came with, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L. And the nice thing about it is too, since it is kind of like a, kinda like a bowl with those raised edges. If we do have a spill or something, we can just pop these off, pull it out, dump it out spray it off with a hose if you want and then plop it back in. It just makes the whole cleaning process a lot easier. And it's gonna take a lot less time which I like, 'cause time is money. I'd rather be doing other stuff than cleaning my car. So grabbing the WeatherTech second row floor mats is going to do that for you. Definitely not the best place for them to be floppy, Kelly. I put WeatherTech floor mats in my Silverado quite a few years ago, though a different style, and it did take a little bit for them to form themselves to fit perfectly. We get pretty hot in the summer hear in Missouri, so it wasn't too bad. Being winter now, it might take a little longer, but I think you will be happy with them in the long run. I definitely am with mine! ^___^ Are these just to get nicer ones than the factory mats or are you going to be getting muddy often? The factory ones in my Silverado were absolutely terrible so it was a huge upgrade for me.

Thanks for sharing the photo, that really helps. These are custom-fit mats, but with motorhomes like the Freedom Elite, there can be slight differences depending on the floor layout or trim level. Even though they’re listed to fit multiple models, Thor sometimes makes small changes around the passenger side footwell that can affect how that corner sits. What you’re seeing on that edge is usually from the mat not quite matching the contour of that specific floor shape. Sometimes letting the mat sit in the sun or a warm area can help it relax and settle a bit better, but if it’s still not lining up after that, it may just be a variation in that particular model. If you can share your exact Freedom Elite model, we can double check fitment and see if there’s a better option or confirm if that’s expected for your setup.

I had contacted WeatherTech. Can you please confirm if you have removed the carpeted floormats prior to installing them these floor mats?

The fit isn’t the best. And wish I had gotten the individual ones vs the one that covers the entire front floor. Outside of that they work great. They are dirty from snow and mud but they clean up great.

Its been about a year and the mat is doing its job as far as keeping the carpet looking new. My only complaint is the mat will not stay in place. It will slide very easy. Weather Tech sent some Velcro but it doesnt help in the movement. I have several strips on the underneath of the mat. This is all that Weather Tech offered as a fix. Dont know if I would purchase them again or not.
