Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Victron VE.Direct Cable. Now this is a communication cable, not a power cable, and its job is to let Victron devices talk to each other. So this is a VE.Direct Cable, and what I have here on my cable is about 32 feet long. And you see, this has those straight connectors on both ends so you're gonna use this to connect VE.Direct-enabled Victron equipment like MPPT solar charge controllers or BMV battery monitors to a GX device such as a Cerbo GX or a Color Control GX. Once connected, this is going to let you monitor system data, change settings, and see realtime performance through the GX interface or Victron software.

Without a cable like this, those devices just can't share data. So if you're building or expanding a Victron system and you need a longer run between components, this cable is gonna be just exactly what you need. It doesn't add power or features on its own. It just enables communication and monitoring, which is going to be essential if you want that visibility and control over your system. We do have other lengths available, so if you don't need this 32-foot long one, for instance, we do have shorter lengths.
