Now, the Alpha Series is REDARC's slimmest battery charger yet, it's packed with the features that neighbors love, and it fits in most places in your original BCDC. It offers intelligent battery monitoring. The included BSEN500 sensor right here delivers optimized realtime battery data in the RedVision app, giving you a clear, more accessible view of your system's performance.
It does offer plug and play power management. And it's also gentle on your alternator, even if it's a smart alternator.
It does offer a smartphone app, you can connect this Alpha to your RedVision app via Bluetooth to monitor charging, and customize the settings like input limits. It also updates automatically through your cell service or wifi. This offers battery recovery, so if for some reason your batteries do go flat. All you do is open your app, press a button, give it about 15 minutes, and you'll have enough charge to safely start your vehicle and to get back on your journey. Now, they do offer optional wiring kits and mounting brackets, which are sold separately. Makes it a lot easier. And this is compatible, we mentioned, with lithium batteries. It is compatible with all your common automotive battery types, including the LiFePO4. A few specs on this, the start battery input voltage range is nine to 32 volts DC, the solar input voltage range, nine to 48 volts DC, the nominal output voltage of 12 volts, and the nominal current rating of 50 amps.
