Hi, everybody Andy here with etrailer.com let's take a real quick look at the Dometic PerfectPower 12 volt DC to DC battery charger. Now this is going to work with your 12 volt vehicle systems with standard or smart alternators. And the battery types that this supports are gonna be AGM, gel and lead acid, Now this DC to DC battery charger's gonna let you take advantage of extra energy provided by your alternator to charge a battery bank in your RV or overlanding vehicle preventing sulfation in your battery and extending service life. This is gonna work great with smart alternators and Euro 6 emission standard vehicles. And the multi-phase charging profiles are gonna prevent hazardous overcharging and this is not gonna drain your vehicle's battery when the engine is not running. As you probably saw here, right her we have DIP switches that can be configured for using lead, gel, AGM or lithium batteries.
And we do recommend this one for vehicles with alternators generating 40 amps of excess power. So the output current's gonna be 40 amps, the continuous power is 500 watts. The overall what I'm calling length is 10 and 1/4 inches. The overall width, six inches and then the height is gonna be 2 7/8 inches. Instructions are included to guide you through the installation and the operation.
And I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
