Video Transcript for Review of Redarc Portable Chargers - GoBlock Portable Power Station - RED95NR

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this REDARC GoBlock portable power station. Now this is really gonna be a fantastic solution for you to consider if you love spending time outdoors or you need a reliable power source for your off-grid adventures. For instance, imagine that you're camping or maybe taking a road trip or even working remotely from your cabin or your RV. This power station is really going to be a lifesaver, and let me give you a few reasons why.

First, it's portable. This is a somewhat lightweight. It's sitting at about 42 pounds, but this is gonna be relatively easy to carry with these retractable handles as you see right here. And all of this added with its compact design is gonna make this very simple and pretty easy to haul this portable power source to wherever you need it, wherever you're gonna go. It's built tough with its rugged aluminum case.

It feels well-built, well-designed. And it doesn't feel like it's cheap or flimsy, or anything like that. So it has this really nice, rugged aluminum case. So it's gonna be ready to go and prepared for virtually just about any situation that you can imagine. This is actually designed and built for outdoor use.

There are no fans or exposed components that can affect this unit. So this is going to allow you to take it from your car to the beach, to the work site, to the tailgate party, family barbecue, or just to your campsite without having to worry about the elements like wind, moisture, dust, or grime. So not only is this portable, but it is powerful. This lithium battery has a capacity of 100 amp hours or 1,280 watt hours, and this is gonna give you over 2,000 charge cycles. So you can plug in your fridges, your lights, your cameras, your drones, and even your CPAP machine to keep your gear running for days while you're off grid.

This also has the ability to help you recover a dead battery in just about 15 minutes with its start battery recovery feature. And I'll talk about that briefly in just the next minute or so. So if you need power in a hurry, this GoBlock will give you flexible options to stay powered up wherever you go. You can recharge this through your vehicle, through solar panels, or a wall socket. And this is where you're gonna plug in, for instance, like your solar panels, and I'll talk about that in the next minute or so as well. But this does feature a 50 amp rapid charge rate and so you're gonna be able to fully charge this 100 amp hour battery in about two hours. So that means more time to have adventures and less time waiting for this to get charged up. Also, we have ports. We have plenty of ports, so you're gonna be able to power your gear with these ports here. I wanted to go through each one quickly just to give you an idea of what we have here. First, we have our trickle charge input. And so this does come with what I call your car lighter cable. And so you'll plug this obviously into your car lighter port and the other end into the trickle charge port. Or it comes with this adapter here that you can plug into your standard outlet and then plug the other end into that trickle charge port. So that's gonna be a slower way to charge this up or to keep it topped off in between uses. And then our second port here, we have our merit socket, then we have our fridge socket, and hopefully you can see those sockets pretty well. And then we have our accessory socket. And then we also have a 50 amp Anderson output. And it has this really cool cable strain relief here. So when you have that cord plugged in there, this strap is gonna help keep it nice and secured. And then we have four USB-A sockets. They're right at 2.4 amps each. And then let me see if I can give you an overhead view here. I wanted to show you the control button right there. And you see that it's lit up blue right now. That means that it's connected wirelessly via Bluetooth to my phone. I'll show you that app in just a second that you can use to control this. But this button is going to allow you to turn this on and off. And it's also going to turn the battery level LEDs on as you can see right here. This also gives you an at a glance look at the power that we have left, but also this is going to give you alert codes. So that's a really nice feature. You're always gonna know what's going on with this. And then this also will allow, this button will also allow you to do other functions as well like initiate the recovery mode, things like that. So really fully featured. Now on the back, I mentioned this port here. This is our auxiliary Anderson inputs 50 amp. And so this is going to be the connection interface for auxiliary input, like your solar panels, your battery recovery leads or clips. I talked about how this has that start battery recovery feature. That's where you're gonna plug in those leads or those clips. That's not included with this, so that's something that you would have to pick up separately from this to take advantage of that feature. And then this has the storage isolation switch, which is going to isolate the internal battery for prolonged periods of storage. So if you're not gonna use this for a long time, you'll just turn that to the upright position and then that will shut this completely down. And I think I failed to mention here, we do have these caps here, these covers. It's gonna cover all of these ports here, so protected from dirt, debris, dust, things like that. I did want to point out here that on the side is the PowerDock interface for the REDARC PowerDock. Again, that's an item that's sold separately, but we do carry that here at etrailer.com. You can find that under the Related Products tab. And I said that you can check out the power levels here at a glance with our meter here. But also this is, you can use the free app that you can download from your smartphone store, whichever one you use. I've got my iPhone 15 Pro here, so I have this connected already. And so you can see at a glance the power that I've got left. And then when you have other things plugged into it, you're gonna be able to see what's going on as well. So that's a really great feature. So again, that's going to be a free app for your smartphone and you'll be able to monitor your power levels, control settings through that RedVision app on your smartphone. Let me give you an idea of the size of this unit. I measured this before our time together. End to end, looking at the length, we're sitting about 16 and 3/4 inches long. The width about 7 and 3/4 inches wide. The height about 9 inches tall. And again, here's those awesome retractable handles. And again, these handles don't feel flimsy at all. That's gonna give you a secure grip on this unit. So whether it's for travel or outdoor activities or even just needing a backup power source, this is going to be really a great option for you to consider so you can keep your devices powered up when you need it the most. Well, I think that's going to wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
