This smart trickle charger helps prevent battery fade that shows up after storage. It manages charging and recovery automatically, shows what's happening on a clear display, and works across common battery types so you can connect it and move on.
When a boat, motorcycle, or RV sits unused, the battery slowly loses charge even if nothing is turned on. This smart trickle charger adjusts voltage and current through its 11-stage cycle as the battery's condition changes. It brings a low battery back up carefully, slows as the charge fills, and then maintains it without continuing to push power, helping keep the battery ready between outings and during long storage periods.
Many batteries fail during storage, not while they're being used. This charger is built to maintain batteries over time, helping prevent gradual discharge that can leave you with a dead battery when the season starts. It's intended to be left connected so your battery stays ready without requiring constant checks or adjustments.
Repair mode is designed to help recover batteries that have been weakened by long storage, sulfation, or sitting partially discharged. It works by applying a controlled charging pattern to help break down buildup on the battery plates. This mode can help improve battery performance, but it is not a guarantee for severely damaged or failed batteries.
The LCD display shows what stage the charger is in, so you can tell whether it's charging, maintaining, or in repair mode. Reverse polarity protection helps prevent damage if the clamps are connected incorrectly, and the IP65-rated housing adds protection against dust and moisture for garage, shed, or marine environments.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this PowerMax 11-Stage Smart Trickle Charger for your six and 12-volt batteries. Now, this is a smart battery charger that's gonna work with both your six and 12-volt battery, so whether you have a car, a motorcycle, a boat, or a lawnmower or even an RV, this is gonna be pretty versatile for you. What makes this stand out is that it doesn't just dump power into your battery, it actually uses an 11-stage charging process. That means it charges the battery gently and safely, and it knows when to slow down. Now, not only that, if it needs to speed up to charge your battery faster, it can do that.
And if you just need your battery maintained, this will also do that for you. So, this will help your battery last longer, ultimately. Now, this is going to work with a bunch of different battery types, regular lead/acid, AGM, gel, and even some lithium batteries, so chances are, it's gonna work with whatever you have. This is going to put out four amps, which is a nice, steady charging rate if you're looking to maintain a battery or bring one back up to full, but not necessarily fast-charge it. One cool thing that people like is it does have a Repair Mode, which can help bring an older or neglected battery back to life.
And as you can see here, we do have a little screen here on the front. That's gonna show you what mode it's in and what it's doing, so you're not gonna be guessing. Safety-wise, this has protections built in, like if you accidentally hook up the clamps backwards, it's gonna warn you instead of frying something. This is water-resistant so it is safe to use in a garage, on a boat, or pretty much anywhere it might get a little wet. Giving you some measurements here.
Looking at the overall length first, from end to end, I came up with about 7 1/4 inches in length. The overall width, about 3 1/4 inches wide. And then the height or the thickness, about two inches. As you can see here, we do have the clamps, can plug this into your outlet. And it does have a slightly rubber texture to it, so I think it's built tough and I don't think it's going to easily slide around either because of that slight grippiness that it has to it.
So, overall it feels very rugged, very durable. I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. If you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out.
