Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Lewmar galvanized Delta plow anchor. Now, this plow style anchor is going to be excellent for sand, mud, rock, grass, clay, or any combination of those. This is gonna be ideal for boats from 25 to 35 feet long. And just to give you some rough dimensions that I took before our time together, the overall height overall is gonna be about 11 inches tall, at the widest point, this is about 12-and-a-quarter inches wide, and then at the longest point here, we're sittin' at about 27-and-three-eighths inches long. And so this weighs 22 pounds.
And this is going to set quickly and it's gonna hold reliably. The lead ballast tow is going to give you a low center of gravity, letting the anchor right itself and the narrow shank is going to provide deep penetration into the seabed. And so obviously you'll attach your anchor row to the integrated eye, as you can see there, this is gonna work with a 5/16 of an inch chain, which is not included with this. This is made of galvanized magne steel for durability, so it's gonna hold up really well for you.
