Question:

I've got a 2020 Can-Am Outlander 450 and about 5 acres of property. I'd like something for spreading grass seed and fertilizer, then salt in the winter. My ATV only has a flat hitch plate. Is there something that would work?

Hey Dave!

The SaltDogg ATV/UTV Spreader # BP49GR would work great for all three! It has a 15-gallon hopper and an adjustable feed gate, and it can spread material up to 30' wide.

Since your Outlander has a flat hitch plate, you can add the Curt Bolt-On Hitch Adapter # C45006 to get the 2" receiver needed for the spreader. Just verify mounting clearance and your ATVs hitch capacity.

The spreader plugs into a standard 12V accessory outlet, which your Outlander should already have. If you need to add one, the OptiMate 12V Power Socket # MA84BV connects directly to your battery and has an in-line fuse to protect the circuit.
