Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the GSI Outdoors nesting red wine glasses. Now, these glasses allow you to enjoy your favorite red wine with a friend at your campsite or RV park with this nice stylish wine glass set. Now, the red wine glass, you can see, is designed, has a larger bowl at the bottom, and that's to allow the aromas and the flavors of the bold red wine to emerge. These glasses are a nice lightweight construction.
They are shatter resistant. They're very easy to clean. They are made of a copolyester plastic, which gives them that excellent impact resistance. And they're suitable for both warm or cold beverages. The nesting feature on them allows you to move the stem and snap it into the bowl for compact storage.
All you have to do is unscrew the stem, take the bowl portion, put it over the stem, and it'll snap right into place. And you have compact storage. Now, each glass will hold 15 fluid ounces. This is for a quantity of two glasses.Last thing I'm going to do is this give you some specs on it. We'll take the one that's in the stored position right now, and we'll measure it.
The height from the bottom to the very top going to be right at 4 5/8 inches tall. The diameter, the widest point, going to be from here to here, it's going to be right at 3 3/4 inches. Now, on the one that's already in the usable position like this, we'll measure that, the height of it, bottom to the very top, 7 3/8 inches tall. The diameter here would be the same 3 3/4 inches. But at the very top, it's a little bit narrower.
It's going to be right at 2 3/4 inches. Again, when you're ready to use it, just pop off the bowl, twist it onto the stem. Once you get it twisted on, just snug it down. You don't overtighten it. And you're all ready to go. That should do it for the review on the GSI Outdoors nesting red wine glasses..
Did not get a chance to use it but looks to be sturdy shipping was extremely fast and well packaged
Holds wine fine. But has not held its shape or finish very well.
A steel chalice that is functional for both at home or on the go. Quality manufacturing and design. Outstanding customer service. Priced right!
I love them
Compact, durable, and sexy looking! Wife absolutely loves the early evening toasts with this collapsible, stainless steel wine glass.
I am really enjoying this glass as an addition to my camping/picnicking/travel gear. I have tried to get on board with the whole stemless idea... cannot do it! I have also tried other types of unbreakable wine glasses. They all feel cheap, and do not stand the test of time for quality, looking etched and scratched after a trip or two. This is the second glass I've purchased, so I have one for a guest. The stem stored inside the bowl is ingenious. This glass is stable, even on what passes for level at a campsite. The base even fits in the cup holder on the side table of my favorite camp chair. I use it in the backyard, no broken glass to worry about with a rambunctious dog or child about. Picnics, camping, neighborhood potlucks, even everyday, thus was a nice addition to my lifestyle.
Great quality! Thanks
great for its space-saving and function ality!
This is not the first time ordering these wine glasses. They continue to be a great product.
